The Dark Side
Beware!!!! One of our own has seen the Glorious Light and left the Dark Side. One of the hard core old stuff racers has moved one hundred and eighty degrees. Maybe all the old car guys might want to take up a collection and get some professional help for this individual. This is probably old news, but it needs the Forum's attention.

Re: The Dark Side
My sympathy to the family.

Re: The Dark Side
Is that the drag racing equivalent of "radicalized"? Or "salvation"?
|
Re: The Dark Side
Gee Dwight, I guess that would depend on which side of the "aisle" you're sitting on.
|
Re: The Dark Side
Good Luck to the lucky victim.

Re: The Dark Side
That wasn't a person that was at the front of the complaint line regarding the "new" cars was it?? A person that was THAT vocal about the inequities couldnt have a change of mind could he???
|
Re: The Dark Side
Well you know, it probably was. Radicalized; I like that. It is about the equality of the Dark and Light side.

Re: The Dark Side
Is this the "Saturn" from the Las Vegas trip? Jeff had a "you break=you buy" clause in the contract?
|
Re: The Dark Side
If Stock Elimanator continues to exist it will be heavily populated by many more of the new cars. Athough they are not economical they have many advantages and are true race cars. Not production line automobiles that are heavily reworked.

Re: The Dark Side
Tom, no this is not the Drag Pak of Jeff's that we broke. His was pink like the Cuda!!

By Jeff's original post, I thought you had acquired a Cobrajet, which would have been going over to the dark side! |
Re: The Dark Side
Anyway you look at it, it's still a HECK of a nice xmas present !
|
Re: The Dark Side
Is a nice Christmas gift...had kinda of lost track of that DragPak since Brandon Wood ran it some a while back. Very nice car as I recall.
Radicalized but not complete heresy...congrats Larry and Patsy. |
Re: The Dark Side
The motor in the new Pink Car was covered under Mopar's extended warranty. I thought a stock thing with powdered rods and cast pistons and everything else stock should stand 7500 RPM. We have a sorta stock 392 on the dyno now, not started yet, and waiting on the stock replacement. We will know when we get it apart. The hole in the side and the rod that is already out are not normally a good thing.

Re: The Dark Side
At least he still goes by the old addage "MOPAR or NOCAR!". Jim

Re: The Dark Side
Mr Jeff You should be carefull from now on.My sorces say you have radicalized Mr Larry Hill. You are being watched here on the interweb by Big Brother .You are speading a new breed of religion that's very dangerous for the establishment of stock eliminator.Larry has drank the kool aid and has turned on us classic stocker owners.
Whos Next? |
Re: The Dark Side
Is it time for an intervention?

Re: The Dark Side
Next fall when TRUMP is president, he's banning all new cars; Copo's, Cobra Jets, and Drag Pacs, from entering NHRA competition - Until NHRA figures out what the Hell is going on!
