4 Door Stocker Photos
One of the things I have always loved about Stock Eliminator is the diversity of cars. When something different pulls to the line, such as a 4 door or station wagon, people watch because it is different. How about posting up some photos of your favorite 4 door cars past or present?

1964 Fairlane 4dr sedan powered by a 289/271 4-speed fell in D/S in 1964. Today it would be a natural G/S.

Re: 4 Door Stocker Photos
64 wgn,
Other than mine (the blue one) I wasn't aware of any others even though Jere Stahl stated that back in the Car Weight Only era it was the car to build with the 283/220 because it weighed 3080 lbs., a perfect 14.00 on the 14.00 break. Somehow or other through the ups and downs of factoring, it's lost a pound and is now listed at 3079 lbs. I started building mine in November of 1969 right after returning from the Army. Hopefully, I'll have it back running in 2017. Jerry |

1975. This car -as a roller- was given to me by the late Lee Sherman. Swapped all the parts out of a 2 door to drop down a class. 396/325.

Here is some pictures of my four door Jr Stocker. I have NO history on this car, so if anyone out there has seen or even thinks they've seen this please let me know! The car is a 1957 Chevy sport sedan (4 door hardtop). it was raced at the New Jersey tracks. Has Raceway Park, Englishtown 1970 tech sticker, class winner and eliminator. As well as an Island Dragway class winner, and over 30 class winners from Atco. I also have a few trophies from these tracks. The NHRA #1870 is on the windshield and passenger side glass. This car was campaigned in O/S. I am looking for any evidence of who drove/built this car. The car left the factory with silver and ivory paint. There is evidence inside of bright green paint, the car is blue now. Any help or information is greatly appreciated! Let's see if we can solve this mystery!!

Here's a pic of Jay Hamilton's 4-door '58 Pontiac.
Here are also a couple of better pics of the "Tijuana Taxi" Pontiac, which was shown earlier in the thread. |
