My brother Joe has passed away. He left during the night peacefully in his sleep. Arrangements are pending and will be posted as they become available.

So sorry to hear the news Jeff. On the way home from Dallas yesterday, we were talking about Big Joe and his stories. He was an Icon on the starting line and he will be missed. R.I.P.

I'm so sorry to hear about about Big Joe passing, he was always great to me in my travels seeing him and Jeff down at Belle Rose and other places I seen him.

I am very sorry for your loss. Joe became a cherished friend through competition many years ago and always expressed a sincere interest in what was going on in my life. It is impossible to imagine the void created in your family by his passing. Godspeed Joe and prayers sent up for all his grieving family.

Jeff, very sorry to read the news this morning of Big Joe's passing, losing your brother who was a legend in D-4, a ambassador for NHRA and a friend to everyone he met, it has to be heartbreaking for the Teuton family. Thoughts and prayers Dale and the girls.

Adding in my condolences. Joe was such an icon - a big man in all ways. The MoPar legacy is now missing such a vital player. He was such a force and a legend we almost thought he was immortal. My prayers for the family; a sad, sad day.

Very sad news, we met Big Joe at a race in Montgomery some years back. He made us feel like we had known him for years. He will be greatly missed by all, the Teuton family is in our prayers. RIP Big Joe

My good friend for fifty years. I will miss you at the US nationals. Loved to talk about the time he dusted our *** in sixty six. I still. Believe that Nova had a HDMI. Always had a good stories and wanted to tell it trying to drive at Indy this year and wanted you in the winners circle. I will see you. Biggg uh Yuh j
