Norwalk Divisional arrival time
 

When is a good time to plan on getting to the track if wanting to get parked and through tech on Thursday? I saw the flyer showed Credentials and Parking 1 - 10 PM. Any suggestions for a first timer to Norwalk? Much appreciated.

do not even try to go to lenders lot before 8am, that's all I'll say on that

Nitro, I have never been to Norwalk. Where did you see the 8am reference on the schedule? Are you saying racers can't enter Linders lot late Wednesday evening. Thanks for your help...

nope, they do not unlock gate till 8am, we always test and line up inside track on Weds night and they let us go over to lot in morning when it opens.

No testing on Thursday, then? I won't have to leave quite as early... Not like I really wanted to pay $100 for 2 test hits, anyway... Hehe

Does anyone know what the "stock/super stock showtime" is at 8pm on Friday on the schedule?

It's qualifying under the lights with a wheelie contest! It gives Stock and Super Stock some prime time recognition!

Considering we've had rain for basically a month around here I'd hope they rethink the linders lot deal. Grounds pretty soggy round these parts.

I think they eliminated the afternoon sessions on Friday. That is not the revised schedule.

5/3/2016 - An evening thunderstorm and tornado warning ended hopes of completing the North Central Division season opener for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series late Sunday night. All classes will be completed at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, May 20-22, next stop on the North Central Division schedule. The Indy and Norwalk events are the final two races in a very hotly contested JEGS Allstars point competition.

A total of 126 cars remain in competition from the 535 entries following eliminations that began Sunday morning.

Stock, Super Stock, Super Street, Super Gas, Super Comp, Top Dragster, Top Sportsman and Competition eliminators will be completed on Friday, May 20 at Norwalk. The Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car semi-final and final rounds from Indy will be incorporated with Saturday's scheduled qualifying sessions and will also count toward qualifying for the Norwalk event. The Pro Stock Snowmobile final from Indy will also be contested on Saturday during their qualifying session. http://www.dragracecentral.com/image...t_endstory.gif

just a reminder to everybody going up there, if you park on the west side (Super class pits) make sure you lock stuff up, cause with the campers they let camp right in pits with us, "things" come up missing every year at the divisional and national event.
