OK, so I'm not really there as my RV is out of commission and is being repaired at R&J Controls ( Onan generator experts ) in New Jersey but believe me I'm there in spirit .That and I was looking forward to having some fresh 'lobsta' this weekend .Many of my peeps are making the tow up the coastline and hopefully they'll be keeping us informed with latest on what's happening this week there .

Parking and tech went pretty smooth today. I got there around noon and was waved in immediately, no line! I set up and unloaded the car and I was through tech by 1:30pm. Johnny Gray told me there was a stacking line this morning but it cleared out in a couple of hours. They started parking on Wednesday which really helped alleviate long lines.

I had things to attend to and didn't stick around for Clifford's talk. Maybe someone else can report on that...

Jack - sad news to report, Larry's Clam Bar is out of business and there's a "For Lease" sign out front. The end of an era, I tell ya. I started going there in the early 70s when I first started going to New England Dragway. Sad.

Sad news indeed - i'd be willing to bet that most if not all ASRA members have had seafood at Larry's at one time or another .

OK, so boys will be boys .Newly minted A/SA racer Steve Rehm along with S/S racers John Canada , Bob Brunneu and ringleader Mark Markow went to a Wal-Mart shopping this afternoon and qualified for a ride on a shorty School bus back to the track ........Hmmmmm ! ! !

I'm surprised no one has mentioned all the drug and alcohol testing here I got one and so did quite a few others from what I understand over 100 people got tested today

Good morning all - Welcome to day 1 - it's very damp but not raining with a chilly temp of 58 degrees with 81% humidity along with a barometer reading of 29.97 and a final DA of 495' .The 9:30 start is up in the air but you never know .

Keith - you beat me to the punch - over 100 have been picked i'm told for drug and alcohol testing - and no category is exempt - NHRA personal - FOX personal - and of coarse racers .Here's a new one - would you believe they have alternates ??? I'm told a story of a racer being told he was picked yesterday while he was sipping a beer ......

Rd 1 of stock qual went off on schedule, and SS is running now. Had 61 deg and 92 humidity, burning water this morning. We (stock) are up again soon, will try to get some more later, busy morning

Saturday morning. It's murky and foggy with high humidity. 1st round for Stock scheduled for 9:00am. The local weather forecasts are calling for a washout on Sunday. We'll see if that affects today's schedule. I was at the starting line for Scott Gove's 7.90 run in SS/AM. Most impressive in less than perfect air.

Good morning all,
Another foggy morning to start here in Epping. Yesterday the humidity stayed over 80% until the third run. The warmest part of the day was after 5pm. They ran ahead of schedule and actually slowed things down some so the pros would start on time. Stock is out at 9 for round 1

John Gray is the best appearing car award winner and deservingly so. What a job he did on his car. They are running the last round of pro qualifying currently. Stock is thru 3 rds and rd 3 of SS will be after the pro session. There was talk that they would run some extra rds tonight, but that may not happen. The forecast for sunday is poor, and if time permits, it sure would sound like a good idea to get more racing in today

Good morning , well after heavy rains last night the Sun is up and in a few hours maybe ,just maybe we can get this race finished up . The pro's are scheduled to be out first at 11 and sportsmen will be running in the order . 3 rnd's left for both stock and Super stock. I'll do my best to keep you up to date .
