Somebody screwed up putting these races on top of each other. I see plenty of guys who would have done both and had to chose one, including Top Fuel Harley, Pro Mod and Top Sportsman which are also short at Bristol.

There's also a National Open this weekend at Toronto Motorsports Park.

Not many racers want to run Bristol because of the altitude and typically hot weather, though it hasn't been that hot this weekend.

WOW missed this one...
Was up at Island Dragway attending an ECIRS Meet.
Trailer blew a tire on the way home.
Could not find a replacement and tow with one less tire.
Drove carefully and slowly making it home at 6:30am.
Other wise was trying to make Sunday race.

There were two Pure Stockers at Budds Creek...lost opportunity to meet them.

So will Al Ross be hit with instant hp since he was 1.40+ under his index? Did he get hp yesterday???

Congrats to all winners at MIR! I love that place, but unfortunately, IHRA insists on scheduling their races there on top of NHRA races I attend.

This year there is only 1 conflict (Empire/Cecil) NHRA/IHRA Division 1. That is why I went to ZMAX to pick up additional claim. Unfortunately there are only so many weekends, It is impossible to not have overlaps with Opens/Association races. As far as IHRA/NHRA division/ProAm, It works for Div1. MIR track was consistent and fast IMO. Enjoy!

I love Budds Creek, I have been having motorhome trouble and thought we had it resolved. Took off Friday heading north and about 2 hours into the trip my gremlin came back so had to turn around and come home. I was disappointed to say the least, always enjoy racing MDIR and haven't raced IHRA in a couple years.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate it very much. I had a really good weekend, The new car seems to be working out pretty good for me. I would also like to Thank IHRA for a great racing surface, that was very consistent, and getting the events done in a timely manner.
