Knowing Warren from old times at Coles County Dragway in IL, he was nice enough to give me a tour at the recent St Louis divisional up in the tower as to how these D3 telecasts come about. There's quite a bit going on behind the scenes as you might expect, and just a little computer savvy comes into play to make it happen so seamlessly as you view it. Let's just say this guy really puts in some time and it's all for the racers and the love of the sport.

D3TV was semi-screwed Friday...worked great Saturday. Sunday morning reveals it is totally screwed.

Bowling Green is a great facility. But the cell service is terrible. There's nothing they can do about it, the problem is Kentucky cell service laws and rules.

Is there no cable internet in BG? It would seem necessary to have cable internet or better to support streaming the quality of videos that D3TV has.

You can stream over 4G, with ease. However, 4G is not always consistent and reliable in the Bowling Green area.

It would not surprise me at all if there was a tower either down or overloaded.

I know you can stream over 4G, but it isn't as reliable as cable or fiber optic. It just seems like it would be easier and more reliable to stream over one of those.

If he had to have a mobile cable Internet connection, it might be cost prohibitive.

Most places don't have the cell service weakness Kentucky has.

There isn't a lot you can do about the cell service there, and there's certainly no way that you are to blame for the connection issues. Thank you for what you do for us. I really enjoy being able to see the racing when I can't be there, it has helped make sitting out a couple of years something I can survive, and given me a little hope. :cool:

I watched some of yesterdays race during the day and watched late into the race last night. Was maybe 9 pm when I shut it off.....and the race was not done yet...

Sure wish my own Division had this as it would be great to watch when I can...

I have watched the race from Friday to Sunday with some problems. This was great.

"NO OTHER DIVISION HAS THIS". Maybe they should think about it.

I spent most of the weekend with my eye-balls glued to the flat-screen, chrome-casting the D3TV webcast from my iPad. There were a few drop-outs, but no more than any of the other live events we've been watching all Summer. The live-timing capability is a great feature as well, something I wish the other web providers would add to their broadcasts!

I have two weekends left - the Summit Racing Series Division Finals (the "bracket finals") and the NHRA Fall Classic National Open. Hope you tune in and check it out.

I enjoyed it and thanks for doing it. I used as a tuning tool for the car, it sure helped.
