yea i looked at the weather and figured that but its just now afternoon. It doesn't look like anyone had time to set up for class. Probably got called right back to the lanes

Here are the speeds for the first round of class in both A/SA and B/SA:
128 110 126 103 126 108 94 52 101 What a joke this class racing thing has turned into: Three cars out of nine keep the gas pedal to the floor all the way to the finnish line. What spectator would want to sit and watch this garbage? This is pathetic. |
anybody know what the air was checking there in the afternoon??
|
go to drag race central for weather conditions. 30 barometer 800 feet above but high humidity
|
OK, 69 Stockers and 43 Super Stockers? I've seen more cars at an IHRA Divisional race! What's up?
Jim Wahl 6 Time National record Holder 2239 BF/S I miss Buster Couch also! 'cause Div.2 will always be "Buster's Rebels" |
Density Altitude was 2098 for the 2ed round of SS qualifying. I dont know where they are getting their numbers or if they are using Corrected Altitude. If any wants I will post the weather in the morning for the first round of stock. The local forecast says the rain will start tonight and last all day tomorrow. Looking at the radar I dont see any way that the fun gets going at 8 AM. Super Street first out then round one of Stock. I doubt if anyone gets to go down the track tomorrow.

I recalibrated the Command-Air today - it was was reading 3-4 degrees cold yesterday based on the weather bureau temperature readings.
- Larry |
Today all I needed was a rain gauge for the weather readings.

Oh yeah - the pits are a mess and it looks like Stock won't run first round until after the Pro semifinals, Super Stock won't run until after the Pro finals. They wanted to run them first thing, but can't get the cars to the lanes.

how about the guys that have to go back to houston to finish the event, they postponed the eliminations till sat. for stock,s.stock ,s. street. the car count will be less than that.[:-veryangry-:]

Jim, just my opinion, but I believe the enhancements are taking effect.
Randall Klein |
Randall,
That is what I figgured. I just wanted to confirm it. You know it's gettig bad when it took no grade points to get into the Gators! It's going all according to plan. WAKE UP RACERS!!! Jim Wahl 6 Time National record Holder 2239 BF/S I miss Buster Couch also! 'cause Div.2 will always be "Buster's Rebels" |
Jim, the enhancements have taken their toll with me, after ,,,well so many years,,,but Jim, the racers will keep going no matter what especially the ones with that big ego! oh and the touring racers! I will be supporting Divisionals and National opens and until i see some changes, which i won't, thats it for a while!
woodro josey I miss Buster Couch and Lex Dudas. |
You and me both Woodro! I will not go to Atlanta this year, if ever again. I am planning on the Cajun SportsNats but that's about it. All these "enhancements" are wearing me out! Jim
