Finally !! After sitting for hours they are letting us in to park .Bad news is there are twenty-one rows in front of me .More bad news is that I don't think there is any tech today .We'll see .Heard from the boss already - he's in / parked and sitting under a tent relaxing .Hmmmm ........signing all those autographs in Indy just plumb wore him out and I can see already that I'm going to work a little extra this weekend .

Thursday at etown there is not much going on except for parking. I did find a few cars out, but not many were interested in working on their cars. It was very hot and humid today, and it looks like it will be the same until Sunday. Start time is 10am tomorrow, there is a curfew here, so we always get a late start.

Good morning all - This AM is a little different - instead of hearing birds chirping the only sounds outside I can hear are generators humming along sending power to air conditioners as it's really sticky out there even at this early hour .Gates will open in ten minutes but we can't start engines for another three hours .Towing to the lanes is permitted for tech which will start at 8 .Today is a great reason to have a Extended Tech Inspection card so you don't have to tow your stuff around .

Temp is already just over eighty degrees with 63 % humidity -the barometer is showing 29.80 and just over 98 grains of water.The VP is.66 and a final DA of just over 2400'.It's not going to be a nice weather day for sure .......

Stock got their first hit - talk about slow - 118 grains of water will slow you up for sure .I'll post a sheet when it become available .

Because of a computer glitch Stock and S/S sheets won't be available for at least another hour .S/S got their turn at the track with mixed results - and no one went fast .Stock just got called up again - and with the Sun blazing down on the track this reporter is just gonna sit here in the AC and relax a bit ! ! ! Let me tell you it's extra ugly out there folks ........

What a day, hot humid and sticky. For some the track was good for others not so much. Jack is having some trans issues, so he is not having a good day.

Right now he is doing his good did of day by giving all the track works some much needed food and refreshments. These are the local track workers that are here week after week. Anthony Bongiovanni had more food then he needed and was glad it could go to people that would appreciate it.

I have a few pages of todays action, and a very cool video of Mike Iacono in one of his patented wheel stands. Check back later for the video, it wont disappoint.

Good morning all, the weather here is like a broken record, hot and sticky once again. Jack is busy changing a trans so I will start the morning off. Stock will be out first with one more qualifying, eliminations will start for all classes in the afternoon with at least two rounds if time permits.

While all you racers in New Jersey are sweating with that heat advisory the racers at Earlville this morning were dressed like they were going to a fall football game.

It's nice here ...... Even a little chilly.

..it was fun staying today in the heat, and worth it, nice to see a lot of 'my guys' going rounds.Tom O'loughlin, (red light win but also nailed the dial) Ken Robinson, Lou Centalonza (set a stock record in '76) and of course Jack Maytas getting it done!... except for Joe the Greek, track wasn't friendly for rowing the gears today....thanks again for the reports, best to all tomorrow!

Sorry for the late reports, its been a busy day and before I realized, it was 11:30. We were supposed to get two round in for every class, but that did not happen. Tomorrow the schedule shows Super Street out first, but that could change.

Good morning all, and we are in the final day at etown. Weather is supposed to be better today, but temps are already in the upper 70's. They tell us its only supposed to go up to the lows 80's, will shall see.

As far as I know Super Street will be out first. I found a few more photos from yesterday. The first is a Top Sportsman car, he definitely did not plan on this move. No damage and never hit the wall

Englishtown has a 3 level tower suite and you can get some good angles.

Good morning gang - In a little more than two hours we'll resume racing with round 2 of Stock .Weather ?? It's plenty cooler this AM and dialing will be a chore .

Stock should have plenty of excitement with no less than four heads-ups in round two - below are the ladders .

Rounds two and three in Stock are in - weather conditions are changing by the minute - winds- head, side and tail , temps up and down ,many double breakouts .And then there's the track where one run it's terrific and the next it's junk .S/S on the other hand hasn't seen traction issues that the Stockers have and even they have had many breakouts .
