Live From Saltlake LODRS

Wow. Its been a while. Last race in Fontana in May. Hopefully I can remember how to drive my car! Arrived today and low and behold they pitted us. Great hospitality and service. We are pitted in the oval are are the only pair there as of now. I plan on testing and tuning mine as I did a bunch of changes. New axles and spool, re-valved front shocks and new front springs. Plus put in a racepak with a clutch sensor and a fresh clutch. Hot here today. 90. Weather forecast not looking good for this race but we just make the best of it.

Parking day. And cleaning the dust from the cars! Going to be a hot one today. 92. They've started parking. Should be a relaxing day.

Thanks for the pics Bob, and all the best to you two and everyone else who shows up there! I wish I could've been there, but a tranny issue with my truck and a family funeral this past June, drained enough of my funds (and time off from work), to hinder my ability to attend this years race. Next year though, and see ya in 'Vegas 6wks from now!

Thanks for the pics Bob, the 1962 Pontiac Catilina is awesome one of my favorite cars.
Good Luck with both cars.

Believe it or not I think we're going to get the first qualifying session in. Cloudy but the sun is peaking thru. Present conditions 58.7T 75.9H 25.52BP 5732DA.

Good luck to all and thanks to Bob for all the pictures, so far.

I think that the 62 Pontiac is a very cool car. There are pictures of both the car and under the hood from Mike Delahanty at the Earlville Div. 5 race.

I have been wondering how B.J. was doing. Good to see her at this race. Is the cancer under control at this time?

Glad to see there is a great turnout of Stock and Super Stock entries up there! All the best to all of you racing this weekend, and it seems like tomorrows weather should be good enough to get the first race in easily, and hopefully the second!

Sitting it the motorhome with the furnace going. Things not looking good for today. 100% rain predicted and its black clouds all around. Saturday and Sunday looks OK. See what happens.

Might be a little better pic..Got plenty of time to mess with it.

The only good news at the moment is, you should see some scenic pics of snow on the mountains tomorrow.

Mark----Absolutely beautiful !! ---------- But I have to be careful here I don't want to offend Bob's red Grand Prix or it might not want to come home with me after I pry it out of his gorilla grip fingers. Hey--the white LeMans that turned red made it to my back yard again so who knows. :)

Don't let it gather too much dust!

Only thing this Cat needs now, is a 4 speed!

Bob & Mark, I didn't realize you were both there yesterday, I did get to put a face
to a few face book friends like Don Kennedy.

With the rain I left for home this morning and just got home an hour ago.

Its another day and its still raining. The good news is that its supposed to be sunny by noon or so. In the mean time its another pot of coffee brewing!

Drying the track now. Sun shining, well kind of shining, northwest of track. 2-2 1/2 hours to get track ready. Then we'll run something. No schedule yet.
