??Curious Billy Question??

I spent the morning with Greg Stump at ACP/Stahl and was looking at a set of Stahl headers dated 7-73. It got me to wondering, how old are some of the Stahl headers still out there? Is there anyone out there with some really old stuff sitting/lying around or still in use?

The headers I bought in 1968 for my 1957 Chevy are hanging on the wall of a guy's garage in Enola, AR. I saw them last year. I think i still have the warranty tag for them.

I have a sbc set that came with my dyno. They might be early 1980's because the dyno was one of the first SuperFlows. . For sale. I'll get pics up later. I have about 12 sets of dyno headers. Many are 18 degree. With and without adapter plates. Good shape. Cheap.

Bruce, look for a build date stamped on the flange. It should be two groups of numbers, first being the date and second being a production number.

Went to the back forty to where I bolted all of these dyno headers together. Getting ready to sell them. Found the marked Davis headers. Found the marked Dawson headers. Mysteriously the Stahl headers aren't there......I know I had 'em..... grrrr.....

Here's my set, also dated 7-73. They were on my Camaro up until a couple years ago when we broke our 327. Planning on getting the 327 back together this year and the Stahl's will be put back on.

I'll have to go in the back of Dad's shop i think he has a set of BBC Nova headers and 1 or 2 sets of BBC Corvette headers that came out to the side. (BTW Jere and Mary Ann was good friends and he told her to put Hooker decal on since he didn't pay )

The Stahls on my 57 are dated Nov 67. Judy told me this was the first year they started serializing them.
I also have a set of fenderwells for 58-64 SBC dated April 73 and a set of 67-69 Camaro BB dated June-78.
