Tru-start poll for Div 7
Open to any Div 7 racer. Just looking to see if racers are looking for change or stay the same. I set the poll for 10 days.

I'm not sure I want to get another poll job from NHRA.

Re: Tru-start poll for Div 7
I voted and have a div. 6 number but have claimed div. 7 the past few years.

Re: Tru-start poll for Div 7
I vote yes!!
I will get my number this year! I will be racing his year at at least 1 race. I'm actually in favor of double elimination. You both red light you both go home. |
Re: Tru-start poll for Div 7
OK so none of these polls will show any meaningful results, because of they are not limited to any Larry,Ron or Mickey from voting. So I think you should re think you’re your approuch to this. I have tested the polls and was able to vote on any poll I want and did to test the waters. I ment to start a movement but it went sideways now. so you should just make one poll for all, non racers, racers and anybody that can log on here. if you want one with true results revisit how i did mine, it was for the racers of Stock/SuperStock by a racer of Stock.

Are you against a level playing field????? How about we fix the other end to make it like the starting line, first break out will be the loser????? So much for fairness.... I didn't race my own car in 2016 so I didn't vote.... I wonder how people who voted raced last year and only voted once??? |

Re: Tru-start poll for Div 7
It may be difficult to wait 2 second for a slow car but the simple solution is - DON'T REDLIGHT - then this rule never applies - no matter what your opponent does.
It will make it a little harder to save HP since you will not know you can let off and run .040 under. Our input is - we do not care - it will not effect how we race or our dial in. I doubt it would effect us on 1 out of 100 runs. Don't red light - problem solved. This is trying to make a rule that covers when both drivers screw up which one should win ... maybe neither? Ron |

Re: Tru-start poll for Div 7
Ever since the flagman all changes have been to make it fair for Everyone, this new idea is just anouther step in the evolution of the sport. As soon as the last man leaves we know who the winner is, if both red light.

Re: Tru-start poll for Div 7
I voted no and I leave first 95% of the time.

Re: Tru-start poll for Div 7
The next step, how are we going to make it fare for the fast cars that leave last and have the distraction of seeing the slow car drive past the tree. No clean tree for the fast car, can we put up a 10 foot wall for the first 60ft???
