Man, where is the LIKE button !!!
Outstanding For those S/SS readers who don't frequent the .90 page , take a look there to see the replica he did of Bernard Weaver's Dodge Daytona , beautiful work . |
Re: Jim Fontana model done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A good friend of mine who frequents this forum, Doug Estabrook, also does magnificent builds. He recreated one of my first race cars a couple of years ago. Incredible work.

Re: Jim Fontana model done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tim, what magazine do you write for?
If you aren't familiar with the forums for Model Cars Magazine, check out the link below. Drag Racing Models has lots of great builds. I was registered as ScaleDale but got sidetracked by my Mustang gas burner.....:D http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/ |

www.RPM-MAG.com I used to go on there years ago. Been 8 years or so I guess since I last posted there. Some of them people on there seem to have mental issues with the way they act. I built this about 10 years ago and was in some magazines. http://images51.fotki.com/v303/photo...01_3839-vi.jpg http://images49.fotki.com/v1510/phot...01_3834-vi.jpg http://images51.fotki.com/v303/photo...01_3837-vi.jpg http://images49.fotki.com/v1511/phot...01_3833-vi.jpg http://images55.fotki.com/v585/photo...01_3838-vi.jpg |

Did this model of my Favorite racecar from "back in the day", the "Sourpuss" '55 run by the Broadbent Bros. Steve Broadbent has the model now. Decals were done by Mike Fasig at "Polecat Decals" in PA.

Wow !... I too have done models, including a decent one of my own 62 Chevy.... but I don't think it's a match for these.
VERY nice indeed. |
Re: Jim Fontana model done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice model, Dwight. Brings back memories. Could we see under the hood and a close up of that moroso tach drive?
|
Re: Jim Fontana model done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
