Good to have you back Ms Patsy! Us working folks will arrive later in the week. Now that I have one in school it really gets difficult, I plan to leave Thursday after she gets out of school so should arrive around 7. As I am accustomed to doing I will park myself on the back forty behind the dirt track but hey I don't have to rush to tech anymore just the registration trailer. See you all Friday!

Great news, glad to see you guys back on the road. The stacking area is open. Some spots are a little muddy, but for the most part the stacking area is okay. The local weather said we had almost 4 inches of rain that was much needed. The rain has finally stopped, the rest of the week looks good, mid 80's and sunny.

Parking is supposed to start Thursday morning, but the security personnel told me they may bring us in on Wednesday. There are about 10 rigs here now. Many rigs are still in the camp grounds in the area.

The stacking area is closed for the night. It will open again tomorrow morning a 7.

Well we were about an hour away when I read here that they stopped stacking so we are now in the pro holding lot. I guess we have to go over there to the sportsman lot after 7 in the morning. There are quite a few sportsmen here where we are! So until tomorrow !!

We are parked in stacking!! We stayed in the Pro stacking last night next to the noisiest generator ever which ran all night. (Even noisier than yours, Jeff!). We don't know if we will get to park today or not. We will be ready whenever they say GO!

I just talked to one of the NHRA officials, 7AM tomorrow they will be pulling rigs in. There are about 80 rigs in the holding area at present.

Good morning all. Hats off to the NHRA parking crew. Great job getting us in an parked. I was told they would start at 7am today, and sure enough the rigs were moving in at 6:45am.

It looks like most of the rigs that were stacked are all parked. pretty dam good to get it done in less than 3 hours. No waiting at the credential trailer, great job there also.

Not sure what the problem was on Tuesday not letting us stack. I did here that someone got a little upset that a dozen or so rigs were let in. There is so much parking space around here, it makes no sense. The rigs that could not stack on Tuesday, parked in the pro holding lot. There was no security at the Pro lot, but it was okay to park there, go figure. There was security at the sportsman lot. A nice gentleman at the sportsman lot was more than glad to lets us park until he got the word to stop. All I can say is in spite of these ridiculous decisions from the top, the guys in the trenches (parking crew) always seem to come through for us sportsman, good job guys.

Tomorrow is fun day at the Four Wide's, we have Class and Factory Showdown. Could this be gear head nirvana? We have not heard a word about testing at Galot. We have no idea who was there or how fast they went. We hope to have more to report later.

Well I'm here! Got here and my well laid plan went down the drain as there was a security guard blocking the rear entrance. In years past we have just went in and parked ourselves but not this year. We were directed to a holding lot across the street its lot Y if you're coming in behind me. I was told they would move us in tomorrow morning at 7 am. Ed I guess I will have to get me one of those jobs too so I can start getting here earlier! There won't be any visiting for me tonight so I should be well rested tomorrow.

Not many cars were out today so I did not get many photos. Seems the only cars out were the COPO's. Start time is 9:30am tomorrow with Stock being out first.

Sorry for the lack of reports, I had brake issues with my car, try to get it fixed as I type. Here are a few quick shots. I have more media and will post videos and photos later today.

Its hot here, and the track has been an issue for some of the Showdown Cars. The DA is now at 3400FT and the temp is 89. Stock is done with qualifying, only a few class runs left. Super Stock will be up later, we are behind schedule because of a few oil downs.

Stock has 2 qualifying runs in and the 1st round of class. We got a text a while ago that said we would not run round 2 until after 8 tonight. I guess that is after the pros finish their 2nd run today.

We were lucky enough to get the bye 1st round of class. Now we run Martel next round and Boudreau has the bye. It will be past Larry's bedtime when we run tonight!! I sure hope he doesn't take a nap! Pauley is here tuning Gary Richard, and boy did he go fast! Martel is fast, too!! We have not found the final qualifying sheets. Larry is going up and seeing if someone has them somewhere. The last sheet still showed Ficacci in B/SA and he was actually in A/SA, so I don't know how much else is incorrect also. And then they have FS/XX cars mixed in and it is a mess!

And the radio station does not work and there are not speakers in the pits where we are, so it is anyone's guess what is running now!!

These racers plus a 1 or two more in this "XX" class should go home. They didn't qualify for the show. I know the racers most of the time don't write the rules, but noise should be made at NHRA to correct this inaccuracy.

Just have them run their own eliminator. Put all FS/XX cars on their own ladder . Or if they go back in Stock, put them at bottom of qualifying instead of top where they get all the byes!

If they race and qualify in Stock Eliminator they should be subject to the AHFS just like the rest of us....

Well its going to be a long night. Stock class has still not finished up along with Super Stocks final qualifier. At the present time there is another oil down and are still cleaning up. They still have to finish alcohol and then they will go into the finals for Stock and finish up with Super Stock. Super Comp, Super Gas hade on one time shot today. They will get their second time shot tomorrow.

The track was not scheduled to be open for anything on Tuesday. The schedule lists stacking to begin on Wednesday, with pit parking and registration on Thursday, qualifying on Friday.

I'm sorry for my lack of reporting today I have been quite busy with Qualifying and class runs but I did manage to get a few pictures that I will try to upload when I get a chance. I have my kids and wife with me this weekend so I am splitting time between the track and Great Wolf Lodge. Needless to say I've been quite busy.
I had a couple good runs in qualifying and got a redlight in 1st round of class from my buddy Shane Oakes. The class final didn't go my way as I lost by .003 to Kenneth Stott, talk about a little depressing! It was fun though and we will give it another shot tomorrow in the eliminator.
Speaking of the eliminator, with all the moving around by everyone I managed to get paired up with my good friend Greg Rowe for first round. Well the bright side to that if there is one, at least one of us will go to round 2. Hopefully I will have more tomorrow.

The second qualifying shot the brake pedal went to the floor. The brake line going into the master cylinder where it flares split. Between taking photos and shooting video, I just couldn't get it fixed in time.

James, don't worry about the reports, your racing program comes first.

Good morning all, we are on our way to another warm day, its already 75. Stock will be out first at 8:30 for first round. Not sure about the rest of the schedule as they still have to give Super Comp and Super Gas their second time shot.

The first few photos are from the PC Richard camp. Paul Iaconis, the crew chief sitting on the scooter next to Gary Richard is invaluable when Gary has to run class. Although Gary did not win A/SA, he did run an impressive 9.88@133. I have to thank Paul for his help with getting my stubborn brake system to bleed. Also Eddie Brooks, another PC team member who spent ours with me getting the brakes fixed.

As I think about how many people helped out, Dan Fletcher, who had a master cylinder I could use, his son Thomas and Dave Ficacci for also helping out when I was ready just to f this brake job and fix it at home. It makes you realize why we race, it is certainly not for the money. Racers helping racers, it does not get any better, thanks guys.
