Re: The passing of Mr.Wayne Shaw
This is very sad news, and our thoughts and prayers go out to Robbie and Family. At least Wayne was able to do what he enjoyed best the past few months, Drag Racing, and was able to share a lot of that with Robbie. He will deffinately be missed.
I talked with Gary Russell a few mins ago, and Gary had spent a lot of enjoyable time with Wayne the past few months, and Gary said that Wayne wanted to be laid to rest in New York, next to his Mon. |

Re: The passing of Mr.Wayne Shaw
We are so sorry to hear about Wayne's passing. We talked to him at the St. Louis national event and he was telling us about his battle with cancer. But he had decided to race as long as he could and enjoy himself. When we saw he was entered for Indy, we were looking forward to seeing and talking with him again. Robbie, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Re: The passing of Mr.Wayne Shaw
Although we have never met the man, it is easy to see that he was friends with many. We have just met Robbie this year, and he seems quite likeable. It is a shame for anyone to suffer through cancer, we have seen it many times in our own family.
Our thoughts are with you Robbie. Keep your head up and remember the good things and times. We are glad that you got that last iron man for him. He had to have been proud as hell of the way you are driving this year. Go get that national championship for him! We will be rooting you on. The Day Family |
Re: The passing of Mr.Wayne Shaw
I was paired with Wayne at the Gators this year for a time trial. It was so cool to watch that wagon of his go straight up in the air while next to him. Spoke to him later that day and said that I love going heads up with him just for the entertainment. He will be missed greatly, RIP friend. Be strong Robbie, he is very proud of you.
