2018 COPO Camaro Hits The Strip With All-New 302 Racing Eng

Sounds like that 302 might be a high rpm screamer.

8,000-9,000 RPM ?

The new 302 racing engine is based on the LT1 engine offered in the 2018 Camaro SS, but built for drag racing with unique components. Its displacement derives from a shorter-stroke crankshaft than the production engine that enables exceptional high-rpm capability.

These will probably sound like a Super Stock EM or FM when they run.

Based on content and overall design of OEM engines & components produced since about 1997 (20 years or so), I'll say no.

I was thinking more along the lines of the street legal production cars in Stk Eliminator.

I am too. Over the past 20 years production engine content has included titanium and inconel valves, 4340 h-beam rods, titanium rods, pistons with inboard pin bosses,, rings
narrower than .043", cnc ported heads, roller cams, roller trunion rockers, valve lifts greater than 0.550", knife edged or radiused counterweight cranks, dry sump oiling, aluminum blocks, superchargers, turbochargers, and great big throttle blades.
