Steering coupler

I want to remove the stock rag joint found in most mopars with a steering coupler. I asked Borgeson and they gave me the completely wrong part number. Does anyone know the proper coupler for a 67 cuda with manual steering.

{found it}

do not buy one until I get mine in to the car. I do not want you to buy something wrong on my account.

Only coupler I know of allows you to use a power steering column with a manual steering box . The flex joint in the column is like a crude u-joint .

I sell the adapter to go from power to manual steering. Makes up the difference of the two shafts. Call me at the shop 951 7878783

I did look at FR and their adapter was almost 4 times the expense of the other u-joint.

Re: Steering coupler

i got the u-joint on the steering shaft and the box. It will need to be welded onto the shaft. To get it to fit properly i had to mildly grind the shaft down a few hundreths

Re: Steering coupler

Looks to me you got it sorted out. Remember to center/index the steering wheel before welding.
