If you’re so positive, put your money up. You can’t blame NHRA for your loss or no tech when you have all the tools at your disposal to make them tech it. Seems like it would have been a whole hell of a lot cheaper to protest it then to find more HP in your combo. If you know it’s illegal, you get your money back when you’re right. So you literally have nothing to lose, but you’re on here bashing another racer. It’s not a good look.

Calling someone a cheater on a forum for the rest of the world to see is something I'm sure you can back up. Why don't you give him a call or pm. You want some cheese with that whine?

Usually the HP hits are posted on Monday, after the event. Why haven't these been posted?

Maybe they missed it because it happened in the second round of class.

WOW
AHFS Hits for 3/20/2018

As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Gatornationals event, the following changes have been made.

HP rating for 93-98 GM Camaro, Firebird, entries with the 350 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 275-285 currently rated at 358, has been increased by twelve horsepower, to 370 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator.

HP rating for 70-71 Mopar Challenger, Barracuda, entries with the 426 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 425 currently rated at 434, has been increased by fifteen horsepower, to 449 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator.

HP rating for 1976 Ford Mustang, entries with the 302 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 133 currently rated at 133, has been increased by seven horsepower, to 140 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator.

HP rating for 1967 Ford Shelby, entries with the 428 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 355 currently rated at 382, has been increased by thirteen horsepower, to 395 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator.

NHRA's 2018 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-seconds or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase.

These changes are effective March 20, 2018.

"Bunch of cry babies" You accuse one man for having an illegal car and now the others are cry babies. In the real world the name callers usually end up crying. LMAO.

I didn’t see where one of those went 1.2 under. Not in class anyway

Looking at the sheets I can't find a LT1 that went -1.20 under.

Maybe in SS ?

I looked in qualifying, class, and for any heads-up runs in eliminations without seeing anything. Only found the Ford and Mopar B cars during class.

Pretty sure the LT1 is an error.

There was an LT1 car that ran +1.20

I hope it's an error!

Who ran more than 1.20 under or is that a question?

Second round of class D Young runs 1.20 over on a bye run at 76 mph thanks NHRA

Re: So how come no HP adjustment from gators ??

I can tell you it must be wrong cause I never even hit -1.00 under I went -.986 under in the class final but before that nothing even remotely close to -1.20 under. I'm going with a misprint for sure! Poor LT1s do NOT need anymore HP! Lol

Whalen3186 03-21-2018 04:01 PM

Re: So how come no HP adjustment from gators ??

Sounds like they made a mistake and read the +1.20 as -1.20. They are going to change the LT1 back to the 358 that it was at before.

sterling simmons jr 03-21-2018 04:19 PM

Re: So how come no HP adjustment from gators ??

Can we get it back to 346. That s better then 358.

He's obviously talking about Bakies

Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT-----ET---Speed-----Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT----ET---Speed
1352 Bill Hawk 4137 Keith Bakies
C3 0.053 10.044 129.39 ****WINNER**** 0.025 10.060 125.65
B/SA Index: 11.25 (+/-): -1.206 B/SA Index: 11.25 (+/-): -1.190
Prior rounds:
C2 (W Gary ) 0.014 10.145 123.19 0.003 10.309 103.45

Bakies gets the advantage off the line and holds off Hawk to take the B/SA class win.

I am glad they corrected the error. Yes.............. I second, third and fourth Sterling's comment. I actually thought Bakies had the LS combo like the vette, either way he was only 1.190 under.
