Re: Anyone recognize this Dodge?

We have received reports that suggest that, at the time the picture was taken, the car was owned/driven by Ron Young or Yount. Does that rattle anyone's memory?

Thanks, Tom! You'd think that if I was there, I'd remember the car?

Didn't Denny Sanders have this car at one time or still does and now painted white?

Re: Anyone recognize this Dodge?

Alex,

Denny Sanders has a similar car (painted white) that he's been racing since about a week after the landing of the Noah's Ark. It's similar but not the same car. This '64 passed through Paul Wong's hands and he has been asked questions about it's origin. As i mentioned, the name "Ron Young" has been raised but neither of us can remember him either so it's still a dead end. This may be a lost lineage but such enigmas are interesting to pursue. Thanks for your suggestion.

Must have been a reason I kept these old photos after all these years. I think this is the same car. Always thought it was Denny Sanders.

Re: Anyone recognize this Dodge?

Alex, I agree with you, the car in the picture I posted is the same car that you have attributed to Denny. The decal placement alone is enough proof for me to make that statement. I do recall, since you mention it, that Denny's car was yellow at one time. I've sent an alert to Paul so that he can weigh-in on this subject. We really appreciate your interest.

In the meantime, there is also the subject of a '63 Dodge Max Wedge car that Paul that Paul has (or had) in his collection that we've never been able to pin down. Hopefully, he has some information about that car and we'd appreciate your thoughts on that one too.

I'll pass that along to Paul. Thanks for your response.

Re: Anyone recognize this Dodge?

That is the cars exact condition when I purchased it. I would believe that picture would have to be very early 90's. It passed through several people in short time. I am trying to decipher the number on the window there as once again it is different than Ron Young's number. Trying to find the etiology of these old cars is a lot like ancestry.
