On the competition plus forum website it was brought up that NHRA has reduced VHT 30% for the pros track prep. You might want to ask NHRA at atlanta if they are reducing the VHT for Lucas oil racers.
I know a lot of comments about how the track was prepped at Charlotte.

Well today has been a great day! We have been sitting in stacking all day after a great breakfast at Country Crossroads! Lots of getting caught up and a few adult beverages! Then tonight we all went out to Koji’s Japanese Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday a day early! We are #14 and should be moving in and parking at 7 in the morning!

She always does a fabulous job. Well after a short week to get caught up on work I'm about to hit the road in a few minutes, should be able to roll into the holding lot before midnight.
Will do the early morning shuffle of getting parked and registration, which Ms Gloria makes very smooth as Brett already mentioned. Will see everyone in the morning!

We start with stock in the morning at 8:30! The original schedule posted was wrong. Stock and super stock are no longer back to back and neither are super gas and super comp!

We got in the holding area about 1 am last night and the NHRA parking crew was out in full force before 7 this morning. We are moving in now.

It is 8:00 now and 55 degrees going up to 85 later in the day! Stock is out at 8:30. We get 2 qualifiers then class! I have been really lax on pics lately but I will try to get some today!

Very smooth parking this morning, we got in quick and right through registration. Ms Gloria always does a great job getting us in.

Cooter, impressive on all fronts that you can get parked, registered and tech all before making first round of qualifying at 8:30 When NHRA has their 'stuff' together they can really make it happen. Sure a nap will be in order after class today. Good luck this weekend, you and Larry just stay on opposite sides of the ladder. Would be cool to see live reporters in the finals on Sunday.

Not much to report this afternoon, after a nice nap I was feeling much better as was Piper. We got out and did a little visiting and just played some games around the trailer. Congratulations to all the class winners today and Stock will be out first tomorrow at 8 am for 1st round. There will be one heads up run in C/SA between Randi Lyn Shipp and Jacob Rutledge in Greg Rowe's car.

We just finished up 1st round, the weather was a little slower this morning with humidity up and barometer down a little. My pair was near the beginning so I really don't have any news on winners.
