Sounds like the track is working well. And it sounds like the stacking is not so good due to the waterlogged Linders Lot. I'm heading to Norwalk shortly and will post what I find there in terms of when and how they will be getting us into the track. If anyone else has news - please post it. As is typical for the Norwalk LODRS, there is rain forecasted for later Friday and into Saturday morning. And even with some weather, Norwalk is one of the nicest tracks anywhere.

The Summit Motorsports Park Facebook page has the latest info ......the remaining rigs in Linders Lot will Be emptied first and then at 10:00 am people will be allowed to enter on the Budweiser side.

MOVE-IN PROCEDURE FOR 12th ANNUAL CAVALCADE OF STARS

Due to excessive rainfall this week, we will delay opening until 10 a.m. today, May 17, at which time you will be able to go directly to your appropriate gate:

Budweiser Gate
Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Pro Mod, Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Comp Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock, Exhibition will enter via the Route 601 Budweiser Gate.

Summit Gate
Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Pro Stock Snowmobile will enter via the Route 18 Summit Gate.

11:30 and we are all in. Hats off to the always efficient Summit Staff to get us all in and parked. The entry process this morning resembled the start of a sail boat race with rigs circling the track hoping to hit the gate when it opened at 10:00.

Test and Tune is planned for today. And a disclaimer: internet access here is poor so reports may Be delayed.

Test & Tune is in progress. Not all that crowded yet. The bite was superb and the track is pool table smooth. We will get another run soon. About a 7-10 mph diagonal head/cross wind.

Thursday turned out to be a good day to be at Summit motorsports Park. The staff did a great job getting everyone quickly into the track and parked and the test and tune went off without any issues. All of the classes got three runs and it’s clear the new racing surface is better than ever. KB Trailer Sales sponsored a racer appreciation dinner.

There continues to be a threat for some showers later in the day on Friday and into Saturday.

I can hear the audio for the Division 3 broadcast but just a black screen for the video. I tried a few things but no luck. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Craig. I can get it on my laptop but not my desktop. There must be some setting that is different between the two that I haven't been able to find. I'll keep looking. I'm a former racer who enjoys keeping up with Division 3 racing.

When the track plays music over the PA and it’s picked up by the broadcast, YouTube blocks it for copyright.

After 2 clusters of rain the track is nearly dry and racing will start soon. The revised schedule does not include Stock R1 .....yet. The weather will determine if Stock and SS will run today
