Congrats on the runner up buddy!

We were all pulling for you. In the semifinals the crowd went wild and loved seeing Lane win!

You drove great, way to go.

I enjoyed getting to meet Lane this morning.

The whole place was pulling for him.

I think Brian Lohnes said something like he had never seen so many people throw their hands up at the same job.

A very impressive performance.

Famous quote: "It's not what you drive, but it's how you drive it". I just can't think of who says that all the time....old age.

Congrats to you and Drew for a great show.

I thought the new thing was showing the Sportsman finals? Does Tony still describe each Pro class at least once a race?

Thank you all very much! I missed the first two sessions due to discovering a dead battery and then a bad starter which resulted into two runs to parts stores in town. Had everything back together and on the ground about an hour before the last session. We`ve been fighting a miss that began at the points race up here and still haven`t totally cured it, that's why the over index runs. Never ran under `til the final and never lifted on any pass. While waiting for the rain to stop before the final I told Drew his car cover was worth more than my car. He chuckled. Disappointed in my driving on both ends in the final but very fortunate to even get past first round! Thanks again everyone, hopefully it won`t be another 17 years for another shot at the "Big Man"!

It's hard to judge the finish line when the other car is running 64 mph faster.

Re: Nice Job, Lane!

What a fantastic job of driving. The man has no quit

i n him. Overcame numerous obstacles. Many would
have loaded up and left. I knew as long as he was on
the sheet would be a contender. Hopefully in the

next H.P. revue combo gets some long overdue H.P. back.

Should fall within NHRA AHFS guidlines.

Brutally beat up combo from years / decades back when .50
under was well up the qualifying sheet. Last time a

V/SA made a NHRA national final round ?? Lane Weber Denver 2001..
Hats off to Drew Skillman and congrats as well. Can't

be easy waiting 7.1... I was on the starting line, Seemmed
like Drew was on the 2 step prabably a bit earlier than

he would have prefered.

Congrats To Drew and Lane. Well done !

Congrats Lane! Impressive to say the least!!!

For you guys not too familiar with Mr Weber. He’s a Summit ET World Champion in Super Pro in ‘03.

He won the D5 Stock Division Championship in the mid 90’s only going to 5 races.

After losing 5 tenths to the index a few years back it was great to see Lane gettin it done at an NHRA race again.
