IHRA HP Ratings

Does anyone have or know where to get the IHRA Stock Elim HP Ratings? Hell even if it's a few years old. My Engine combo hasn't changed in a while.

Use NHRA ratings .. there are no more IHRA races for class cars anymore if you had not noticed

# James Perrone , has been Right all along ...... ( Numbers don't Lie ??? )

* Let's go Racing ............

Re: IHRA HP Ratings

Funny thing is my Combo got hit 1 HP in 2017 so in a way I got lucky because it was on the HP adjustment page.

I'm going to a Can Am race and I prefer the IHRA index's for my car. When the NHRA compressed all the FWD classes I got stuck in 2 classes that the indexes were 2 seconds apart, one with a Min weight I can't get within 150 pounds of and one I have to add 500 lbs to the car. I tried running W/S but they got their undies in a knot about that. So I'm stuck between either running somewhat unreasonable classes or defunct classes. sounds like it's time for a RWD car.

Some of the Associations still let you run IHRA classes Ed which is a whole different debate. How can you run a class with no sanctioning body? Like I said, whole different debate and can of worms lol......

Midwest class racers run IHRA indexes for most of there races another plus for racing with them if you are in there region. Two grand to win a grand for RU. Tom

Add 20 HP over the NHRA or use their ratings. It's a joke

Only at the Thunder Valley races, since that's an IHRA track. Earlville, BIR, Rock Falls, and Kearney all use NHRA indexes. Just for clarification......

I think some guys use the IHRA classes when running the NMCA Stock SS class.I know of at least one racer who will probably be running a Crate motor class at Joliet this weekend.It aint dead yet.LOL

Re: IHRA HP Ratings

Our Can Am series allows either sanctioning bodies classes. They don't keep track of qualifying, so long as you can run the index you are fine.

Last time I ran the NMCA combo race I used NHRA.

Next time I will use IHRA. On my combo it equates to 18 h.p.
