Good day all, the track opened at noon per schedule. The black top is 70% full but there are spots available. People have been moving cones and tape to park on the black top. If your saving a spot and your not here, it may be gone when you get here.

Not many cars out today for photos, but I do have two sets from last weekends Stock Super Stock association race. As far as the parking spots go, there are still spots left on the black top, you many have to remove a cone or two and some tape. Don't be discouraged about what you hear, come down, we will find a good spot for you, we just need to work together.

Next batch. We have a test and tune tomorrow, the weather looks good as far as rain goes, but it will be warm and humid.

Hey all, sorry for the lack of reports. I was testing today and ran into a few issues. It was very warm and humid today, so there was not much testing today. The da went up to 3200ft, but the track was in good shape. Tomorrows weather will be the same with a chance of thunderstorms. We had a brief rain delay, but it was so warm, it dried up fast.

I will do my best to find out if he is racing here today, maybe someone can chime in on this combo.

Good morning all, warm and humid is the call for today. Temps are in the low 80's going up to the high 80's today with lots of humidity. Water grains are at 113 and rising. We should be able to get a full day of racing with only a slight chance of a thundershower mid afternoon.

I will be back later with some photos of the day. Oh yeah, this place is packed.

There is another live feed available. It's streaming but the quality is not very good.

The air, however, must be quite good. Almost 135 mph from J. Wayne in B/S!

John Shaul turned it loose as well.

Good morning, Q1 is in the books for Stock. The car count looks strong, we have a slight tail wind and its hot and humid, feels like home!
I'm not sure how much help reporting I'll be my internet is spotty at best.

Glenn I'm down near the finish line next to the fence. If there is a generator guru here at the track I would love some help. My generator has quit putting out power and I know nothing about them although I'm not in the dark I have a Honda 3000 with me so I am good for the remainder of the weekend if I can get enough gas!
We were nearly a'll the way through with 1st round qualifying when the rains came. We have been down for almost 2 hours and they are drying the track but it looks like the bottom could drop at anytime......

Thanks James for the update. Let me know if you need a ride to the gas station, I can get a car. They just called the Alcohol cars back to the lanes and the remainder of Top Sportsman, but it does look like we might get hit with another thundershower. All classes except Comp and Alcohol and a few Top Sportsman got one shot today.

Good to here James, Rich is the best, although I hate to bother him at the track. Qualifying Stock, I will have Super Stock later. We done with Stock, Super Stock, and the Super catogories. The rain delay was short and the will finish up with the Alcohol cars tonight.

Glad to help James even if it is just to diagnose the problem. Onan generator was NOT the problem, this time. Transfer switch gone bad. If I had one I’d change it. When my Stocker friends need help, I will do what I can anytime....

Even with the rain that came down heavy for 15 minutes we were able to get a full days racing in. As you can see from the first photos the skies got very ugly. The track was ready to go in less than an hour after the rains came.

Tomorrow's schedule leads off with Stock at 9:30am weather permitting. They are calling for thundershowers in the morning and afternoon along partly sunny skies in between. We will see how its goes.

Good news is I found a transfer switch and as of about an hour ago I installed it and all is good. Bad news, I'm exhausted! Thanks for all the help from Rich and others that offered assistance, Sarai and Shane Oakes loaned me a car to pick it up. The racing family is good even when you're a long ways from home.

Good morning everyone, hot and humid again today. It rained early this morning, but the track is almost dry. Stock will be out soon with our last qualifier followed buy the rest of the classes. The weather for the rest of the weekend looks good, we just have to deal with the heat.


I have been very busy this race and will try to get more photos later today if things ever calm down.

We are in a rain delay. We were halfway through Super Street when the rains came. The track was almost dry and it started up again. It has just stop , tracking drying underway.

Its possible, but I know one stocker was not weight that got him dq'd.

I carry a set of large wire nuts in my toter tool box. I had a transfer switch go bad one race so I just bypassed it using the wire nuts to connect the circuits
