Live from SGMP Division 2 LODRS
 

Alright folks all you racers out there still have your Indy hangover I'm sure but we are back to racing here in D2 this weekend. This is the make-up race from earlier this year that was postponed till this weekend. The words for this weekend looks to be hot and hotter, with a pretty good chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow afternoon. This is planned to be a 2 day event but we will see how that goes. I'm not there yet and won't be till the wee hours of the morning probably since I have yet to leave home so I'm not sure how the car count is shaping up to be. We should be pulling out here shortly so if anyone has any info feel free to post it. So if you didn't get enough racing last weekend, stay tuned.

Good morning, we rolled in very late last night and found us a spot at the tail end of stacking. The place looked packed when we came in and another 40 to 50 rigs in the stacking area. Looks like it will be a very good turnout. The line has already been moving so we should be parked in no time, tech opens at 8 with first qualifying run at 9.

Things are moving along very quickly this morning, Stock and SS have had their 1st runs. I will post some sheets a little later.

There's not near as many cars here as I previously thought, the place looked packed last night when I came in.

Thanks for the reports Cooter, actually the closest good track to my home and had wanted to bring my car out but stuck in North Indiana getting some warranty work on my Motorhome. Actually surprised so many people that ran Indy are there and hopefully the counts in other classes are good and D2 draws well at Reynolds and Rockingham. Thanks again, no telling when DRC will have the sheets posted.

Q2 is done for both classes but I haven't got a sheet yet. I thought this was a good picture, Larry Stott said he was out cruising for chicks but his eye sight is getting bad.

Good morning, we have beautiful Carolina blue skies this morning not a cloud in the sky. That means it will be hot today! We get started shortly with Jr's then the 1st round of eliminations.

Last night there was a huge pig picking put on by Jeff and Amy Adkinson in celebration of the impending nuptials of their daughter Kaitlyn and Nick Lawrence. Congratulations Kaitlyn and Nick. I regret that I didn't get a picture of the couple but here's a few I took and a couple of the pig I borrowed from Clay Bullard's Facebook. As our DD Rich said, the swine was Devine! A good time was had by all.

East Coast Cooter, Dropping a hot crawfish in South Louisiana is not a punishable offence by law, but it will result in being shunned by the community very similar to the Amish.
