"Live From" the Dutch Classic
 

Its Wednesday at the Dutch, track opened at noon for parking. Tomorrow we have a test and tune starting at 10am. We can set records tomorrow. I posted the flyer below for some who may not know what classes are being run. The weather is supposed to very nice. Temps in the upper sixties for the rest of the week. Anyone on the fence should head on down, this is the weather the Dutch Classic is famous for. For anyone running the Factory Stock Showdown, its a stand alone class with a $1500 payout with a 8 car field, that's 3 rounds folks.

I found a few cars out, got to love Denny Ford's 409.

Ken, The Napa Store in Morgantown has had VP the past few years when there was something big going on at The Grove. Wouldn't be surprised if they have it this year.

Roadrunner Race Fuels in Mohnton is a VP dealer. Just a few miles from the track. The owner works at the track, but his name escapes me at the moment. Here's a link to their contact info:

I will be there running D1TV Friday and Saturday, Sunday they will be pinch hitting for me as I have family obligations in NY. So D1TV will be there.

That line up looks like the Brew Crew at Leisure Village. shuffle board and bocce at 3:00. I see Kenny's trailer in the background. Make sure he plays. He'll be easy prey for guys like Bender and Germanski. Stockers are way cool. And our stockers are way stocked. With lemonade, spiked with Mira Lax.

Stockers are "way cool." My favourite class. I remember looking at Mr. Broadbent's gorgeous '69 Camaro about 30 years ago at Sanair. He ran a 302 in F/S IIRC. It was a an immaculate car back then and still is today. I have so much respect for the "veterans" of the class.

Hey all, sorry for the lack of reports today. I was planing on testing today, I made one run and was making some changes. Well I should have left well enough alone. A simple change that should have taken an hour turned into 4 hours. The rains came and I never made another pass, oh well.

The DA was about 1400ft today with temps around 70. Not sure if records were set, maybe someone could chime in. I did watch a few cars go down, but don't have any numbers. The track was good for some and not so good for others. My run was early, I did not spin but it was a little loose down track.

Tomorrows weather looks like rain in the morning, clearing by noon. with temps in the upper 60's. I hope my day goes smoother tomorrow so I can get some photos for everyone.

It rained alot overnight , stopped around daybreak. Puddles and extremely soft grounds now. It is overcast and gloomy currently. The good news is we should have great weather from now on. Delayed start , maybe noon is my guess. Stock will be first out , super stock much later in the run order

Start time now pushed to 1pm. Parking has been tough, most all spots on the grass are not able to support rigs. The sun is trying to come but we are still looking at mostly cloudy.

You can click on the sticky at the top of the page on Stock/Superstock or type in D1tv on YouTube. I don’t believe it is on yet though because it’s not coming up for me just yet.

It’s probably just not on yet.Im sure it will be on directly.D3 is working fine.Its been raining like crazy there so probably just not started yet.

We are just about done for the day. We all got one shot down the track. We hope to get two tomorrow. I'm waiting on qualifying sheets and will post them later. I will Try to get more photos tomorrow, I have a few that I will post later, sorry its been a hectic day. Doug Walker will have some photos from this race, his stuff is always top notch.
