D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Good Afternoon -
I would like to announce that D3TV is changing for 2019 and beyond. Next year's schedule will be greatly expanded, with coverage of multiple Lucas Oil Divisional and Regional events in Divisions 2 through 7. (Division 1 will continue their great coverage on D1TV). The new name NHRASportsman.TV better reflects what we do, and aligns better with the renamed NHRA.TV (formerly NHRA All Access). What will not change, however, is the great FREE coverage from tracks all across the US. Here's a link to the new website. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a great 2019 season! Warren Evans Producer NHRASportsman.TV http://nhrasportsman.tv |

Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Well... After my earlier post I was informed that I need to make a couple of changes. To be clear, I would not have proceeded had I not believed I had the OK. This only affects the name. I am still planning on producing the same published schedule and so forth, just need to adjust a couple of items for legal purposes.
Stay tuned for the "new" new name... |
Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
And The new fee.
maybe not this year but it’s coming especially with everyone dropping out of all access Nhra will not allow this to continue for very much longer without getting another piece of the pie But thank you for all your great work and I hope it will continue for a very long time |
Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV

Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Thanks, Warren. That is, was, very good news. Hopefully they won't screw with you too badly. Just a little jealousy on their part when you do such a better job than they could.

Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Here's the "NEW" new name: DragRacer.tv or DRTV for short.
Other than the name, nothing else has been changed. https://dragracer.tv |

While this is good news, I cannot access this site while at work. Will there be a live broadcast on youtube still?

Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Great news!! I hope WHEN NHRA starts charging, the charges are at least reasonable!
|
Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
If NHRA starts charging for it I won't be a part of it. Fundamentally, it has to be free to the viewers - we're trying to generate a fan base and support, not revenue. For the first four years, I was able to self-fund it; that went away when I lost my full time job last August. I'm fortunate that there are some great companies that believe in what I'm trying to do and are able to fund this effort. People like Bo Butner and Randi Lyn Shipp, Mike and Emily Volkman, Craig Gualtiere, Phil Unruh, Shane Thompson, Ted Wiens, Phillip Oakley, Rob Youngblood, Don Kennedy, Don Higgins... if you ever get a chance to support them - PLEASE DO! They are the ones helping me, and supporting you!
I'm not an employee of NHRA, and they aren't paying me to do this. The people I named above are the ones keeping this going. Thanks to them! Warren |

Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Mr Warren, I have never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I do hope to this year and thank you personally for this.. I have to say you made me laugh out loud at one of your statements... You said you were out to do this for Free to the viewers and then you said you did not work for NHRA.. The two statements say the same thing.. I never heard anyone from NHRA say we want to do this for free!!!! Just made me laugh.. Thanks again and I will thank all the sponsors when I see them also....Mack

Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
Great Job you do with The live Feed. I like the boxes with dial in and Et s as that is the only way I enjoy watching any type of handicap start racing.
You have the winternationals listed on your 2019 live feed schedule. Will you be covering the national events or is that just for reference. |
Re: D3TV changing to NHRASportsman.TV
I am going to be doing some work with Bo Butner and his team that weekend. Not sure if that will be live or recorded. I'm not live streaming the race itself. Same is true for the Gatornationals.
