Header fitment help

1 Attachment(s)
Need help to figure out what vehicle these small block chevy Stepped Headers fit.

No identifying numbers on them. Will not fit an 81 Malibu, 64 Chevelle or 67 Camaro.

I want to sell them, but need help.

Thanks!

Re: Header fitment help

Those headers could be home made.

Re: Header fitment help

No idea, but the rearward sweep of the #5 and #6 tubes well behind the #7 and #8 flanges makes me wonder if they would interfere with the firewall on many cars.

The way the front 2 tubes on each side "drop" so quickly, I'm guessing Corvette.

I would agree, maybe not for unmodified stocker. Looks like possible interference with the master cylinder and steering box.

Kind of hard to tell without many views.

Mystery headers for sure...can’t see any Mopar using #5&6 tubes extending so far high and back, banging my knuckles on the firewall just working around the back cylinders.

Curious.....

I agree with "jsr1485" they do look like small block mopar headers to me also.

Re: Header fitment help

Have you tried bolting the headers to a SB chevy head to see if it fits.It could be a SB mopar the way the the flange is scalloped to allow for the upward plug angle. gsa612

Re: Header fitment help

It's not a SB mopar header.

How about full size Chev, like a 66 Biscayne?

Re: Header fitment help

Thanks everyone. Small Block Chevy for sure. I've bolted them up on my 327.

Bought them for my 81 Malibu gt car but didn't fit.

Anyone want to buy them, I'll ship at your expense. Buy them if they fit. Send them back if they don't. Not sure what else to do with them. Too nice to scrap them.

Re: Header fitment help

If you knew the header would clear the crossmember/frame etc,you could modify the radius on the #5 and/or #6 pipe if there were any firewall,M/C issues. gsa612

Re: Header fitment help

Thanks Todd.

I think I may do that. A 3.5 inch collector is probably too big for my little 327, but these are really nice stepped headers. A small modification and a set of merged collectors and I may be in good shape.

Hope to see you at the track this year!

I wonder if they might be for 3rd gen camaro. What size are the primaries? How much would you want for them?

Re: Header fitment help

I would say they are for a dirt modified car.

3 steps. OD is 1.59 to 1.76 to 1.85. 3.5 inch collector.

Make offer if interested.

Thanks!
