All Access sign up question
 

I might have screwed up - I got an email this morning which said my all Access subscription has expired - no issue

I went to All Access from the NHRA site and it says nothing about joining -- it says current members will be automatically transferred to the new provider. Of course no detailed information about who that is or renewal.

I know I am not as smart and do not know as much as you guys - any help?

Is this another example of NHRA ineptitude aka stupidity.

Ron,

I would not worry, I am sure NHRA will give you ample opportunity to signup.

I signed up earlier on the old platform and NHRA assured me that would transfer. LOL we will have to see about that.

Well they do have a whole week (7 days) before Pomona No video on Thursday.

I guessed and found the new site, www.nhra.tv

However it looks like the ability to subscribe is turned off and I was not able to sign in.

UPDATE:
I was able to figure out that the new site has stronger password requirements than the old site. I went through the "forgot my password" routine, changed to a stronger password and got right in and was able to watch the 2018 Winternationals Sportsman show.

It looks like the ability to the subscribe may be working also, before I did not notice the "agree to terms and conditions" check box and I think that may have been my problem.

However there could be some risk in subscribing before invited to do so.

I hate to say this but www.nhra.tv is not a legitimate website. Must be more to it. Maybe you made a typo here.

It's legit the site has just been turned off by Sony, I don't guess they are ready for us yet!

340cuda I reset my password on nhra.tv yesterday. Saw the future listing for winternationals with countdown timer. Today I get same error message. Frustrating.

Yes it seemed to be fully functional yesterday but I guess they were not ready for the public to use it yet. I don't know if the subscription process was 100%.

However they better get with it, not much time left!

I was just now able to log in order and pay with a credit card - for the year.

Wow - a lot $119.99 but it will be better this year

I just got the email about NHRA TV and clicked on the link & got to the site that way. It's a secure site beginning with "https".

Scroll down to the bottom left, click on Help Center, go down to the question, Do I get a discount for being an NHRA member?
It says, "All NHRA members get a 25% discount. This cannot be combined with any other promo codes or discounts."

So there's a little perk for y'all : )

Ive been trying to subscribe but I cant figure out how to get the member 25% discount. Is there a promo code. Has anyone been able to get the discount.

A little piece of advice for those who subscribe to NHRA All Access......call the Glendora office and renew over the phone before they automatically charge your credit card. Ask for the All Access Dept and request the NHRA member discount if you qualify. It will save you a significant amount of you intend on renewing for 2019. $89 is alot better than full price

Well, I’m personally going to wait and see how subscribers feel after tomorrow when they run sportsman classes qualifying and run first round.

They sure aren't making it easy to renew your subscription, let alone get your member discount applied. Has anyone figured out how to renew on the NHRA.TV site? Says my account expires tomorrow (2/8) but I see no option currently to renew.

Another disadvantage is it appears now only one person/device can be used at a time. Major downgrade for us...

NHRATV hasn't let me log in yet. Say's my password is invalid. I tried resetting it still no good. Multiple E mails back and forth and they can make it work yet. Sad.

Same situation for me. Says "bad password" - I reset it...says same thing...still no go...

Mark...who are you exchanging emails with? I can't even get the help page to accept my email inquiry...

I had the same problem with my password from the All Access site. Just click on the forgot my password link and use a new password. This site requires minimum 8 characters, 1 capital, 1 lower case, and one special character also.
Mine works fine now.

It took me twice but after I understood the password complexity I got it done. I hope it has improved since my last time.. I took last year off and decided to try it again since we have a new provider.. I am hoping for a wonderful season and many hours of enjoyment.. Not frustration...

I am equating this to buying a new model car in its first year. Will observe from the side lines and hope any glitches are resolved before I sign up just for the Indy Nats coverage.

And can I skip the commercials? Most are neither informative or even funny anymore...

I was able to submit a contact request asking about the discount. I was not able to do that yesterday. I also emailed them support@nhra.tv and got a response that someone will look into my question and email me back. Lets see how it goes. I can log in to the site anytime with my password. But it seems we need a promo code to get the discount. I am not going to subscribe at full price and try and get the 25% back later. I don't think it will happen. I will let you know what they say.

I got an E mail this morning with a different link to log in. Was able to log in then change my password with no issues. I'm good to go ! Hope all you guys get your issues resolved.

I sent an email to support@nhra.tv this morning and got an almost immediate response. Unfortunately the link to the password reset that they sent is supposed to result in an email being sent to me which has yet to arrive. I replied to the message stating I got nothing...name I'm dealing with is Alexey Pilyaev...

I'm not griping like is typical on this board...just providing info for others who may be in the same boat...

I signed up and am logged in no problem.

Reinhart just notified everyone about 5 minutes ago that they're about 30 minutes delayed due to the track temperature.

I did finally receive a "canned" email regarding updating my password with a link to the site to change it. I updated my password (for the 3rd time) following all the new password guidelines and still no go. I wrote two additional emails to the support@nhra.tv explaining my continued troubles and haven't heard a thing since. My guess is the support staff (Eastern European?) has gone home for the day. I'll probably have an inbox full of help in the morning...

Just renewed/changed password. And it was a breeze, less than 5 minutes. Use your notification email to change password, follow all directions and then retrieve the return email. Follow steps and press ONLY pertinent info and you're in. Tested site and worked fine, clear & steady. I'll start tomorrow-ain't 'listening' today!

As opposed to years past the audio broadcast yesterday started right on time. It started itself as soon as the "countdown timer" expired. The actual time trials were delayed but the broadcast was up and running on time.

It seemed to run well all day, I had two interruptions in service, this platform seems to have the ability to recover itself much better than the old.

I am optimistic for today.

The one HUGE thing I notice is I can't rewind during the live viewing. We could do this on All Access. So if the event was 3 hours in and I was just starting, I could backup as far as I wanted and start where I chose.

Can't do that anymore. If the show is live, you're stuck watching right where they are.

And we'll see how long it takes the completed event to show up. All Access would sometimes take 2 days.

No starting line cameras yet, except for one shooting down the track. I'm sure(?) they'll be ready for the pros in 35 mins.!? Otherwise no complaints. (No Jinx)
