For the record!
In the other infamous thread that was closed by Ken I did not accuse anyone of cheating or call out anyone by name. I regret that I even got involved in said thread but I personally felt my friend Jeff Hairrington's integrity was being assaulted somewhat so I jumped into a thread I would normally not be associated with. My comments were generalized and not intended toward any one person or persons.

Re: For the record!
Ken closed it...........darn! I was following it very closely to see who, or is it whom, would issue the first "Double Dog Dare". It's history now so I'm back at work.

Re: For the record!
James, I was getting ready to do the same thing. Jeff is a good Dude. If you read the AHFS averages it is obvious that he has gone out of his way to protect that combination.
Larry, Double Dog Dare! Looks like F/SD will be a fun place to race!! |

Don has been racing D since the start of the year he's way too fast for E evidently he's too fast for D to. |

James I know Don respected Jeff Harrington to when Jeff called and asked him to lower the average Don did so he put over 1,200 miles & to entry fees trust me his rig only gets 5 miles to the gallon to drop the average I believe that is respect for Jeff's wishes... All 4 teardowns there are plenty of pictures including Indy when NHRA had all three cars apart 1 2013 with the cnc-ported heads and two for 14 with the as casted heads all three heads were right there side by side. Now we moved to Maple Grove and set the national record there are pictures of Don as casted cylinder head in the D1 trailer on their head bench you can clearly see it's as casted In my conversation with Jeff Harrington in Gainesville Florida this year he told me they were going to tear me down again at Indy by protest and that he was not going to be involved in it. When you have 2 guys from division 2 tech 4 guys from division 3 tech and 2 guy from division 1 and the car passed all 4 times it's probably best to say the other engine builder need to go home and work on my stuff to make it faster instead of violently abusing a guy with only 3 years experience in NHRA...?? In the past 8 years we have been in Indy tear down Barn 16 *and passed what's multiple tech guys from multiple divisions with nine different cars. I hope that means something Jim |

would you stay a naturally E car or would you try to make it a national D car truly would like to know the way you feel. I like working on them and making them faster maybe I should just go back to an NMCA. |

But I just saw online that the boys from Michigan got the CNC ported head legal for the 14 now they just posted it yesterday so I guess you don't need to different engine combinations now. I also got an email from NHRA on a piston fitment issue.. Call me anytime some parts I can give you some parts you could get cheap |

Re: For the record!
Thanks guys for trying to stand up for me, as most know I don't post on the internet until issues like this. Jim, I know how many passes I have made with the 13 and 14 combo, and no one has potentially made more passes in NHRA competition than I have with this combo(not bragging, just stating the truth). Do you want to discuss who has gotten the 13 and 14 combo over 40hp since they were built? You will not win that conversation...Not ONE of your customers have ever helped keep the average down.. Yes, Jim, my car may be slow, as you say, but I cannot afford to be caught cheating....so if legal is slow, then so be it. My engine builder is aware that I race with integrity and he would never put me in a situation that was borderline or not legal...Neither would my transmission guy or converter company. I have never once told you "they" were gonna tear you down at Indy this year. Regardless of what you post on here, anybody that knows me will contact me and get the truth. Look forward to seeing you in person.....so you can explain the recent changes in the classification guide, and how to keep bolting weight into my car...
