Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joey---Been trying to solve a huge mystery all Summer--I have several 6" wide paths on my lawn that I couldn't figure out until I read your post on Marie's board--that's right, it was those damn turtles on their way to the shell station for a fill up.Will they return ? Should I put up a fence? What next? Almost had a mess to clean up after I read about them (the turtles)-- I almost peed myself..........thanks and I'll see you at the Dutch----I'll be the one with the Hare.......or is it the other way around?
PS--Did you get any takers on that badass Nova yet? |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Jack, sometimes funny things just come out. I am looking forward to the Dutch, love that race. Couple of inquires about that bad *** nova, couple of possible trades including an offer from american griffiti, but he wants money from me. I think I would be killer top end with that bad boy.... I would have to deep stage to hit the tree, I hear that is making a come back. Forget the hare, get yourself a mongoose, they will keep the turtles away. See you next week at the grove for coffee, your treat..

Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joe;
I'll also accept mass quantities of chorizos. If i were still smoking cigars Nestor maduros would have fit the bill.See you at the Dutch. Ed |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Ed--What the hell is a chorizos? Is that like a chocolate covered" Cheerio" ? It sure sounds like something that would be sold in Hell's Kitchen at a bodega (did I spell that right?) .See you at the Dutch....
PS-I'm not even going to touch what a maduros might be !!!!!!!! As you can tell the only Latin (or Spanish) I know is from Mass on Sundays and it's been awhile since they used it . |

Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Jack, I dig the multi-cultural perspective you bring, Ed introduced me to the cherizo a few years back and I am hooked. I thought it was the chocolate raisin you bought at the movies. You have to try it, maybe we can have BBQ with the other D-1 racer who has that "jemiza se' qua", Joe Zooom. Dave the pizza with cherizo would be fantastic, can we have one delivered, I'll buy, try to remember the place, we can have it flown in for the Dutch. Join us for some laughs, I have plenty of good cubans available if you want to start again. Till we meet again.
|
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joey--Did I read right? Here's a day to be marked on the calender." I'll buy " is something we don't normally hear from you without stipulations...........bring the cubans !!!!!
PS-You're really being a Spanish show-off with the "jemiza se' qua" stuff .I really have no idea what that is. |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joe,
Whats this about you having plenty of good cubans available. I thought that most of them are in Miami, how did you manage to get them up there in the North with the weather being somewhat cooler than down here. BTW, chorizos are good, but they are freaking HOT. Ant time you see sausage that is red, you know its hot. Ed, why don't you bring along some cuban coffee to go along with those cigars. I can just see all of you guys just zipping along. Ron Ortiz U/SA aii yii yii aii |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
I always bring Margarita's for my wife and Corona's for myself, that is Mexican, not Cuban.I guess I'll bring chips, salsa, and nachos so to have something to eat in the trailer during rainey periods.
|
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Jack, life's short, tapping into the retirement money (again), Ortiz you would fit in with us, bring some of those snacks you promote, Bart the margiritas would be perfect.......on a steak. If it rains any ideas how we can pass the time? Be creative, maybe a party at Diamond RV, I hear they are tops in the RV business, Pudgy how bout it.
|
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Dave;
Chorizos originated in Spain, not Mexico.BTW it's pronouned CHORE-EEE_THOOS.and they're not really that hot. When I bring them I slice them about 1/4" thick and grill them till somewhat blackened. That way most of the grease cooks off.Mocci is king of the marinaded shrimp, chicken. He also supplies the stuffed olives, now they're HOT.For the Dutch buffalo burgers are part of the menu. Ron,you have to make it up here next year, good racing and better cuisine. Ed |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Ed, you coming with a cusine? Who is she? Now that's italian. Thanks for the history of Choizo, no wonder the Joker picks on you. Joe Zoom, aka Mocci still races, he almost ran Neil over at Atco, would have been charge with manslaughter but Neil a former "doncer" was to nimble. Jack maybe we can have a dance show, a little food, drink and good friends. Bart bring the margaritas after all.
|
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joe , did you say party ? At my trailer you must have me confused with someone else . Oh I know what you mean it's when that Andy guys around and the Manhatans start flying . Rumor has it after Woody has a few the mask and cape come out and a few more and who'll know whats possible . See ya their .
Marc |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joey--You really have it started now---so far.....
Bart--Margarita's w/chips-salsa-nachos and maybe steaks and Coronas Ed is bringing 1/4" thick chorizos Mocci is in for marinated shrimp/chicken w/stuffed olives and Buffalo burgers Andy is in for Manhattens and possibly some "entertainment" Dave is bringing pizza Pudgie--well, he's just bringing his jovial self !!!!!! You're quite the promoter but what exactly are you adding to this shidig ? |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Just remembered,if I fire up the blender for the margaritas,Billy Nees will hear the blender and be first to the trailer.Good stories anyone?
|
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Pudgie, Andy and Woody are the guys in the film with the black socks, Jack, you and I are in charge of the "entertainment". How far is the casino's from Maple Grove. I know some fella's go to the local gentlemen's club, after we run out of laughs at the track we could head there in Barry Parker's motorhome. Picture Fast Eddie leading us out into the community, they would need a swat team to put an end to the nonsense. Pistol Pete been there done that I bet.............

Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joey D
You son of a gun, giving away my old secrets. Now that you beat up on Mr. Parker for the Jegs Allstars, you better make me Proud!!!!!!!! Would you happen to know Dave's phone # (donnie carroll's partner)????? need to ask him some questions.... Joe, If your going to make a BIG BBQ for the Dutch I'M COMING... wheres my t-shirt too???? XL.:) Why are you guys called " the zoo crew" ???? i need a crew name for my bunch.. :) Are you running David Ley's race at Atco on the 28th??? |
Re: Joey DeMarzo--thanks a bunch............
Joey--If we take Parker's motorhome and he drives we could be at Harrah's Waterfront Casino in less than an hour ---if we time it right we'll get there when the "ponies" are running. By the way, "Pudgie" will never make a good black socks actor . If we opt for the Gentlemans Club deal there won't be room for you and I on the coach so ........Good thing that you and I are in charge !
Bart--I've got lots and lots of Billy stories so be sure and turn that blender on . |
