"Live" from Las Vegas 2019
No, we aren't there and are not going! But I have been reading on Facebook where a lot of you are heading out there! It doesn't look like any of our "Live" reporters are entered, so why don't y'all lucky ones who are there, just post for us every now and then? We would all appreciate it! So I will tell you what I have been seeing on Facebook for the last week or so. Allen and Marilyn Wade and Bobby and Carolyn Howald are heading there by way of the Grand Canyon! Then Mitch Kight is on his way there by way of our house in Kentucky where Larry fixed the axle on his trailer. Then Adam Strang is on his way there from Vermont by way of Russells Truck Stop! Bobby Brannon was at the TA in Kingman, AZ last night and Mike McMahon was at the Flying J! There was some speculation that the Bridge (I assume that was over Hoover Dam) was going to be closed to high profile vehicles because of wind! And Chris Knudsen is heading there, too!
So y'all keep us up to date on the happenings! Halloween in Vegas is always a hoot! So Mike, Paula, Austin, Mike--all you lucky guys let us know all the crazy goings on!! Patsy |

Got to the track at about 4:30. Number 125 in line.The bridge over the dam was restricting high profile vehicles to the left lane.

We passed over the bridge about 3pm and the warning signs were up but the wind was not blowing that hard and did not create any problems. The wind started here about 2 hours ago and is blowing about 30 with gust to above 40. Even with the jacks down the motor home is still moving quite a bit. Forecast says this will continue tomorrow.

Those signs are always there. There's a lot of wind in that gorge most of the time..
They want the high vehicles in the left , inner lane so they don't catch it as much. Good luck, all. |

Mine shaft conditions. Other than the two cars at the top of qualifying none of these numbers will go into the averages for calculating HP.

Another 1.20 under hit in 2cd round of class. A couple heads up matchups in the first round of the eliminator with the potential for several more in round 2. Good stuff happening out in Vegas!

Brannon is tearing down (might be done now) and I was told Calvert will tear down as well. Not sure on Wong, but I would assume so given the other two.
Actually turned out to be a nice day, got to around 63 deg. I think Calverts hit takes it out of stock, because the minimum would be 3625. Cant be above 3600. |
