2020 Divisional Schedule Released

https://www.nhra.com/news/2019/nhra-...eries-schedule

I see no huge surprises for D2...Gainesville scheduled for four days which would leave me to believe the “Baby Gators” is planned again for this year which is fine with me. Back to “The Rink” in October but after running Galot this year I’m looking forward to going back.

Pretty much a carbon copy of this year in D 2. Same here with me on Galot. I will be going back. Really nice facility.

What's the difference between a divisional and a regional?

Really nothing. They just run the alcohol cars at the regional

D4 adds a San Antonio stop and also an alcohol only Regional 2 day race in Dallas ahead of the double Divisional. Great idea! Looking forward to 2020!

In D1, the Atco Regional moves from August to May; instead of temperatures in the 90s as is customary in August, they may only be in the 60s at the beginning of May.

That may be in conjunction with the National Open!

With maple grove still for sale wondering what may happen in division 1. Remember englishtown was able to cancel nationals in january. Dutch classic moved to atco? Cecil? Numidia?

Re: 2020 Divisional Schedule Released

Here is the full D1 schedule for 2020. Trust me I’m pretty sure whenever the deal for MG goes through it will remain a track. Taking a few pointers off of what Dave Ley & Myself would do and have events before the Lucas Races. So ATCO NO & D1 Race is back to back and Keystones and Dutch are Back to Back. Should be interesting to see car counts as the Atco Open and Dutch are on top of the Charlotte Nationals, The Atco D1 Race is on top of the Atlanta D2 Race and the popular Spring Flings Races at Galot and Galot D2 Divisonal is on top of the Keystones.

Looks like the Tucson Div7 division race will be a double race. The Thursday Friday race will be a National open and the Saturday Sunday will be the divisional race.

The D3 Columbus Divisional race should be interesting with the Div race scheduled for Thursday- Friday and the JEGS Sports Nationals on Saturday and Sunday .
Div and Nat in 4 days and no Pros to slow things down !

Just sucks that one of the few weekends available to put a Race at is taken by a double, oh well....I’ll be at Atco that weekend, had this weekend confirmed before the announcement even came out

I see the Tucson race as a Friday/Saturday/Sunday race according to schedule, but I did notice LV1 divisional as a Thursday/Friday/Saturday race. We'll see if things change or is my new calendar wrong.

Can someone clarify the "TAD TAFC Cars Only" notations? Who's not welcome? TS? TFH? Me?

Re: 2020 Divisional Schedule Released

The Div 4 race at No Problem is again set between the Div 2 race at SGMP and the races at Gainesville. For us "up north" racers, this means we will miss out on the No Problem race. Div 4 used to schedule their race after the Gainesville dates, so we could travel over and attend. Very poor planning on their part.

They needed to split the alcohol cars from Stock and Super Stock to accommodate all the fans.
