Bob Mazzolini prayers
 

Just wanted to let everyone know that Bob Mazzolini, longtime stock/superstock racer, is having open heart surgery this morning. He has been in the hospital since Friday night. The doctors decided this was the best course of action for him and got him on the surgery schedule. All thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. I will update as I get new info. Ken Etter
p.s He had his 56 Buick Century in the Grand National Roadster show last weekend and took 2nd place in his class. unfortunately he was in the hospital and missed it.

I’ll talked to Bob just some days ago, and ‘mentioned’ he was at the hospital.
So I really hope it will be Ok.
Bob has been a supplier on parts to former owner of my car and to me, and he just got me a set of Mopars aluminium heads to the new Bulldog Hemi block, and I has a big order on parts going on now for doubble A racing.
So please get well fast.

Bob had his surgery last week. Yesterday they removed the pump so he is know on his own. He is awake but sore and cant talk yet because the breathing tube was in longer than normal. He is improving a little everyday.

Thanks for the update, Ken. I texted him a few days ago so was wondering how he was doing.

Man I hate those breathing tubes, and NG tubes, and heck, hospitals!

Glad to hear your friend is doing better. He'll have a sore throat for a few days, but it ain't bad. Beats the alternative!

Mazz is out of the Hospital and back Home.....

Talked to him yesterday. He is learning how to walk in shoes again. He is in good spirits. I am sure Fran has her hands full.
