ATI Supporting the Sportsman Racer
This was posted on the D1 site, but I thought it was worth posting here. JC does a great job supporting D1 racers..... and you don't even have to use their products.
ATI Continues Bigger Payouts for NHRA Division 1 Stock and Super Stock Racers! 2/19/2020 ATI Performance Products and the NHRA Northeast Division proudly announces a deal benefiting Stock and Super Stock racers competing in the Northeast Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Events as well as PCRichard.com National Open Events. Now in the 4th year of the program (Stock Eliminator & Super Stock presented by ATI Performance Products), ATI will present the winner and runner-up of both classes bonus purse money, which is not product or decal contingent. Stock and Super Stock Eliminator presented by ATI Performance Products event finalists will receive an additional $500 for winning and $250 for runner-up at the Northeast Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Events. At the PCRichard.com National Open events at Atco Dragway and Maple Grove Raceway the winner will receive $250 and runner-up will receive $125. At the Toronto Motorsports Park, Napierville Dragway, and Miramichi Dragway National Open Series events, the winner and runner up of the combos on both days will receive the bonus money! The ATI Performance Products bonus money program is currently set to run throughout the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons. This program is in addition to ATI's normal NHRA Contingency payouts. ATI was founded and "grew" up with bracket racers, running stock and then super stock from the 1960's till now. For 55 years, racers have trusted ATI for race winning products, and ATI wants to show their appreciation by giving back to all the class racers. Re: ATI Supporting the Sportsman Racer
I hadn't received my money from VP,only thing I had... for class win at Sportsnationals,so I called and found out I had missed a email with W-9..
I filled that out and had a check in about a week... Thanks VP |
Re: ATI Supporting the Sportsman Racer
ATI always pays when the contingency requirements are met. If you’re not getting paid, please call ATI contingency dept. and they will gladly tell you what you need to do to get paid.

Re: ATI Supporting the Sportsman Racer
I contacted ati after my win at Maple Grove and the girl who I spoke to emailed me a form I had to fill out and return. It was a standard form for contingency claims. I wrote a note clarifying that there was no sticker or product requirement for what I was claiming. About a month later got a check. This was actually the only thing besides the purse that I got paid for since I didn't have any stickers on my car yet. I actually was using an ati converter and have been a customer for many years.

Hello All
Thank you for the amazing comments and compliments. Jim always loved sportsman racers and they are the core of what ATI was founded on and what still drives drives us today. The sportsman racers are usually forgotten, but not by us! ATI has paid out just under $40,000 over the past 3 years to NHRA Div 1 racers only. Attached is a copy of our standard advertising release and an IRS W9. The people who have been paid know how to fill it out and send it back before the end of the year, Dec 31, 2019. You hold up your end of the deal and we hold up ours and always have. At the end of the day its pretty simple to race, win and get paid, with or without our product. |
Re: ATI Supporting the Sportsman Racer
Jim (God rest his soul) paid me $100 cash for a class win at Maple Grove. I miss Jim.
