I searched recently for someone to build BB e-body headers w/o having the car in their shop. Performance welding and REF is what I found.

Mark Lelchook at Performance Welding is the best with Mopar racing headers. He has built many Mopar E-Body race car headers.

I vote for Mark @ Performance Welding. He just did a set for my comp car without the car. He used my old set and the new set bolt right up perfectly!

Greg builds a very nice header and Robbies welds are a work of art. several collector styles available.

I've tried to contact Elston a few times with no luck. Are there any builders around the SE anyone recommends? I'd love for Mark to build me a set but the distance to bring the car isn't feasible.

He has several bodies there that he uses to build headers
He has done a 86 firebird 305 and a 69 camaro big block for me and Im on the east coast

Mark may not need the car. He has setups for many cars that allow him to build without the car.

I sure miss Jere Stahl. His were always my fastest, on any of my cars. Hauled my present car to him, when he didn’t have headers for this series F body cars. Worth the drive, and cost. Wish I had them back. I’m a dumbass.

REF is the place to go.....book well in advance. Several friends have had him do racing Headers, they are very nice, reasonably priced and quick.

We ordered the headers from performance welding..we Call few header builders but they like to have car at the shop..car is in Finland so its a littleabit long way to bring it back to us..thanks everybody at all info..

You made the absolute best decision for your needs,The fitment and craftsmanship on everything we got from him is nothing short of amazing and he never had any of the cars there and on the s.b. mopars he probably tried everything he could think of, when you get them in your hands you will see for yourself !
