Larry... I hope you didn't use one of those MSNBC calculators to figure this out.. I used my old wood burning calculator and came up with 9 additional HP. 303 X 3.25% = 9.847 which rounds up to 9 HP. |

Re: 1.36 under @ Gainesville today
I have to admit that to get the correct answer, I did have to remove both shoes so I could have complet access to the "Southern Calculator".

Re: 1.36 under @ Gainesville today
Bill still owns the car, Bob was driving it at baby Gators. Bob and Bill be driving it 2020. It now carries 322 hp, 18 from Belle Rose and 19 Gainesville.
It is still for sale, but Bob enjoyed driving it this weekend, wouldn't surprise me if he didn't buy it. There is still a lot work with. Ernie Neal SS 354 |
Re: 1.36 under @ Gainesville today
Bill has a great combo and constantly thrashes on it to make it better. Anyone that is even a casual observer of the US Nationals knows that.
There is no other 352 Stick CJ out there and he has waited several years before even coming close to hitting the hp so he might as well have some fun with it. Probably easier to race in a faster class anyway. Bob Siegwarth is no stranger to racing a stickshift. He has even taken a turn in Cassill’s SS/K Nova before. Bob has helped Bill with FI tuning on his dyno and is a good driver. I would look for this team to be around in many class finals and in the main eliminator in the future. |
