Tons of Fun today at the Baby Gators in Gainesville. Loads of photos and met some great folks. First up is some A/Stock Automatic action with Jeff Longhany out of North Carolina in the Vette and the number 10 qualifier Jim Cassels of Georgia in the Nova.

Even though Barry Parker's 70 Camaro is completely camouflaged, Colesy's trusty eight dollar disposable camera was able to capture this image. That's Eddie Longhany Jr. in the 69 A/SA. Eddie is out of North Carolina and Barry is from (turning on spell check)......Massachusetts.

And this is what it's all about!! Double A/Stock Automatic wheelstanding action with the number 6 qualifier John Gray (Massachusetts) in the 69 Camaro and Ohio's Randy Wilkes. A division 1 and division 3 racer enjoying the Florida sunshine and driving much faster than all the other snowbirds on I 75.

Ok, can't sleep. Time for a couple more. That's Joe Martens in the 69 Camaro and Dan Williams from Northampton England in the 69 Chevy Deuce. The number 2 Stock qualifier versus the 9 car. It's A/Stock action, it's Florida and it's about 72 degrees in early March. It just doesn't get much better than this. As the old post cards used to say......Wish you were here!

Silver and Gold. Absolutely the last post for tonight (according to my dear Wife) this is Jeff Strickland in the Factory Stock/B 2020 Camaro (FS/B run offs) and Philip Lankford in the 2014 Camaro. Wheels up and away! It's great racing and you really have to get here. See you tomorrow.

.......and we're back. The best looking wagon on the grounds belonged to Division 1 racer Pete Oaks from Pennsylvania. I/Stock Automatic with a 327 in a 66 Chevelle. What a great looking race car!

Another Division 1 car, all the way from Vermont. This is Adam Strang's D/Stock Firebird. I love those 67 and 68 Birds and the fact that this one is a 4 speed makes it that much better.

If it has A&J Automotive on the quarter panels it's gotta be fast! This is Brian Oaks originally from Nova Scotia and now living in North Carolina. This car once held the national record in B Automatic. Great to see it here! I'll post a very recent article about John and Allyn Armstrong from their local paper in the Annapolis Valley.

Travis Miller and the guys were nice enough to let me hang out in the tech area. They wondered who the crazy guy was taking all those photos with a cheap little cell phone. That's me (red arrow). Lesson number one in professional photography is it's always good to get your shadow into the photo. Merrill Schrimscher and his Camaro.

Tech is the place to hangout! The NHRA boxes are full of Wallys, there's class finalists decals, the scales and you can watch them do fuel checks too.
