"Live" from Atlanta LODRS
 

Hello everyone! We are here in the stacking line we got here about an hour ago and had enough time for some chitt chatting before the edge of a brief storm rolled through.
Since I skipped the southern swing earlier this year this will be our first race of the season and I'm so excited I'll probably have to sit on my hands to keep from waving at everyone. It promises to be a very hot weekend, I talked with a couple people who tested today and it was very hot and muggy with a DA in the 4000' feet range.
I will do my best to do some good reporting but it's been so long since I've seen everyone I may get sidetracked. I would like everyone to please keep their comments racing related as alot of the threads here lately seem to get off track with everything going on these days but I want to keep this one on track please.
Time to turn in and we'll check back in tomorrow.

Good morning, we are still sitting in stacking and it's finally starting to move. I've discovered I have an issue with photobucket this morning so pictures will have to wait.

Well true to form for the way 2020 is going they were done with Super Street or almost done and they starting having computer issues. Thought they had that taking care of and started back running and it started raining. It didn't last very long but everything is wet and there is another bigger storm just to the west of us and it's coming this way. I'm sure this is what acting Division Director Cody Savage envisioned this day going when he came here this weekend. Oh well it will give me time to work on my picture uploading.

The weather has cleared and it appears we may be good for the remainder of today. I just went up and they still don't have any sheets up but as soon as they do I'll get them posted.

Schedule change, there will only be 2 runs for everyone today. Not sure if there will be a 3rd run for us tomorrow or not.

It’s a 4bbl, Thermoquad. Said it had to weigh 4100# in Q. He is running P this weekend.

We had a very nice evening and did alot of visiting and attended a great BBQ put on by Tom Joseph of Southern Rods & Parts.
Dave and the others it is my pleasure to do this as it is a privilege to be able to come and race. For the people complaining about no masks the majority of the people in the pictures are family or team members and it's their personal preference if they want to wear a mask in my opinion. I will say for the most part people are not shaking hands or that kind of stuff like in the past. That's the last time I will mention anything else about it and I hope you all will respect my thread and not have anymore comments or I'll just shut it down. Thank you

This morning you were having problems getting your pictures showing. You post was a mess of HTML code. All I did was parse the HTML code so the picture would show. You later must have edited your post and got it working.

if you encounter a person with a mask on and you do not have one on, please stay at least 6ft away. i am fine if you do not want to wear a mask, but please stay away from me when i have a mask on.
