The day started out good, they called us to the lanes at 9:30 and we all made a hit. Then about 10:30 they called us again and it started to drizzle. It stopped, they ran some test and tune cars called us back and that’s when it really started to rain. That put an end to our racing for the day.
34 cars made the one and only run then 3 or 4 more showed up after that.
Tomorrow looks iffy, it’s not going to be a washout like today, but scattered showers are in the forcast.

Entry is different, there is now a gate, much like New England and they have a tech line setup along the fence between the pit areas. Worked out really well, drove right in with no wait. Make sure you completely fill out your tech card before bring the car up for tech. They were busting my chops for not checking off all the little boxes that I have never checked off before.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for some good weather and great racing!

Hazy sunshine working towards 80° waiting for our time trial 10:15 Sunday morning. The track has mandated it to be a one-time trial day

Had some wind had some lightning which caused some Timing System problems but we were back in Action got through our time trial and we're ready for first round which should be in another hour 40 cars weather's nice right now 2 pm

The lightning issue raised Havoc with the timing system we got a lot of first-round done but there was a bunch of problems because of the lightning I don't think first round got all finished then it rained hard

Even with the weather, the reruns and getting drenched loading the car it was great to be out racing again. Even a tough weather weekend beats the best day at work. Can't wait for next weekend so we can do it again. Barry

I tried to tell Ed a few years ago to put an auto in it. I do have a spare trany and converter. We could put it in at the track. LOL BP

Sorry to hear about the tranny. You may want to give Tom Goldman or Aris a call, I don’t think a crack in that area of a 904 is very common. You may have some sort of stress or miss alignment. You do have a unique piece there and only a select few would have the info you may need.

Re: ASRA race 1&2 Lebanon Valley, Lucas tune up !

The amc bellhousing is really thin in that area and was made for the 6 cylinder cars,,,although some amc v8 did come with them ,I know of one other racer withe same combo having the same issue ,,I checked the converter alignment and spacing, but further inspection upon disassembly ,,,

But was great to see and be apart of the racing class
See you at the next asra event
