Sonoma Double LODRS Info, July 15-19
 

We are officially one week away from the Double LODRS at Sonoma Raceway Drag Racing, July 15-19!

Pre-registration is now OPEN and REQUIRED for the NHRA Division 7 Drag Races, presented by Korbel, at Sonoma Raceway: https://bit.ly/38uf8yC. After registering on this site you will receive a email giving you the URL to log into and submit both LODRS tech cards and a waiver for each driver.

LODRS tidbits:
-masks are required for all racers and crew when on property
-we have two 10pm curfew nights (Friday and Saturday)
-showers will be open during the event
-you can start stacking at 9am on Monday (no early line ups)
-parking will start at noon on Tuesday
-we will only be using the 6 staging lanes near the tower only

Sonoma county got added to the list of counties with restrictions today, I wonder if this will affect the race?

Arrived about 10:30 this morning.
There are 50+ in the holding line. Everyone is wearing masks and catching up with friends at a respectable distance.

Hope everyone has a good week, I fight the mask deal every day with my business and don’t find having to wear one a relaxing weekend. Just my two cents glad you guys get to race, I will keep my opinion about what is going on to myself. Good luck fellas, John

With over 350 entries is parking going to be similar to a National???

Hello Mark.

Last year we had 500 entries and this year currently at 440.

We have more parking spots then last year available also.

We will be utilizing the staging lanes by the tower only this year.

We were #113 in line today. Track personnel were all super nice. Got parked around 3:00 pm and the weather was a very pleasant 71 degrees on my gauge showing 1450 DA in the afternoon. I noticed the DA was -72' at 7:15 this morning so it could be fast. Looking forward to a fun weekend with friends and family.

Just want to say thank you to Kyle, track personnel and division 7 staff for a well run event. Great traction, very organized and good announcers including Peter Biondo. Congratulations to all the winners, it took some great driving win with the ever changing wind.
