I didn’t have the opportunity to speak to him a lot at the track, but the few times I did he was always super nice. He treated me like we had been friends forever which always impressed me about him. Charles will certainly be missed by many.

we lost a man full of jokes and laughs. He would always come tell me a joke when we got to any division 4 race. He will be missed. He was a very good man and friend

So sorry to hear this! A long time friend that will be missed by many in the racer family. My prayers go out to all his family. I remember the first time I met him when he showed up with old "Red", as he called the '68 Mustang. I liked him from the instant I met him. He was one of those "characters" that stories are written about.RIP my friend!

Charlie was a friend to most everyone, and always ready to help you if you needed it. A true racer and someone i was luckie to call him my friend.He will be missed

Charlie's loss is, indeed, a dark day for the Sportsman racing community. He had an irrepressible spirit and he will be missed!
