my friend dan dvorak needs our prayers.he is fighting amputation of his leg.keep dan and his family in your thoughts. randy payne--tanya said tonight that dan was too ill to operate.he will go in monday to try and relieve the swelling and infection.they will operate on thursday.he will be in agh shands at gainesville.please pray for this family

I am totally speechless. :( For those who never knew the humane side of Dan, you haven't experienced the honest and caring side of him, the kind of thing that brings such a rich family like element to our sport. Dan and Tanya, I only wish for the best for you or could offer more than just my thoughts and prayers.

I have never met dan face to face but have enjoyed talking to him on the phone. I listen, he talks. You are in my prayers Dan.

I know that we never agreed on much of anything, but I also know from all of our exchanges that you are one of the good guys. I wish you a speedy recovery and will be praying that all goes well for you.

Dan and his family are most definitely in our prayers. I've never met anybody as passionate about life, racing, and Mopars as Dan is.

When my Uncle and Cousin traveled from IN to FL for a divisional race a few years ago and the car broke, Mr. Dvorak extended help and hospitality to them. They ended up staying the night at Dan's place and getting the car fixed to race another day. He went well above and beyond to help fellow NHRA and Mopar racers.

The thoughts and prayers of Meyer Family Racing are with Mr. Dvorak. Get well soon!

Our son lost his right leg to cancer at age 15, and poeple would ask him how things are, his reply was, I can't kick! John & Ginny Lang...... Sheboygan, Wis
