Live from the Classracer Nationals
Good morning everyone, we are in Cracker Barrel in Harrisburg getting our grub on then heading to Numidia to get a couple hits in the test and tune. I thought I would go ahead and start the Live since I know Ken is going to be busy! Weather looks good for the weekend last I saw and should be a fun filled weekend with some great racing.
Looking forward to seeing all my Yankee friends and frankly just racing again. Please feel free to add anything to the thread as we go through the weekend. |

We are here and parked looks to be a pretty good crowd so far. I'm getting set up for test and tune and will have more later. One note Bob Bender busted a flywheel and were going to talk him in to fixing it before he tries to leave. I told him we will have that sucker in within 2 hours. From someone that suffers through brutal summers with humidity this is a nice change. It's a beautiful track and setting so we are looking forward to it this weekend.

As Cooter says , very nice track, have not been here for over 15 years, and YES lots of cars, will get car count tomorrow, nice field of cars,cars from everywhere,Ohio,Western Pa, Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Florida,Maryland, thanks to everyone who supported this race, we will post a list WHO supports Class racing. Hey guys, if you're not here it's not too late! Load up and head this way, it's going to be a great time and some good racing.
Haven't had any time to take any pictures really I've been testing all day since I got here playing with the tune a little and found a few things so I'm happy. I normally don't have alot of time to test so I've took advantage of it today and still going as I'm in the lanes now. The Domino family has a very nice program here on Friday night's the staging lanes are packed. So far this has got to be one of my favorite little racetracks. It's well manicured and the track has had excellent bite and the view is like no other. One last run and finish up the grill and off to bed for us it was a late night last night. Gates open at 8 with first hit at 9 so hurry and don't miss out on this event! |

James thanks so much. Its been such a busy day. I tried to greet everyone that came through gate, but i just couldn't get to them all. Sorry I missed you. I will definitely find you tomorrow.

Good morning from race day #1. It's cold for us southerners, upper 50's last night and the wind has switched to a cross tail so everyone better be careful out there this morning. Oh wait, nope go as fast as you want!
We have a good crowd and I forgot to ask Kenny this morning how many but I would say it's well over a hundred. Stock is first out with TT #1 at 9 and we get 2 hits then into eliminations. There's no live feed but if I get some time this afternoon I will try a Facebook live. I'll get some pictures this morning and post as time allows. |

WOW as of now 135 cars showed up 70 stockers and 60 SS cars, and i never seen 1 car spin, track is great, Thanks everyone THAT could make it. possible a Q sheet will be poster soon.

I think John Agneta may be driving the red car. At least he's on the list of those who were coming to the race. Phil may drive the white car. But, maybe somebody there will tell us. Dylan Biondo is also on that list. Have a pic of him in the Biondo '77 - '78 Bird Stocker. I noticed that "Hatari" is also on it. Sal is driving the white car and Dylan is driving the car in the picture above.
All time trials are done and we are heading into round 1 now. It's a great turnout and alot of excellent drivers are here. It will be a tough filled to navigate. I haven't had chance to get pictures of SS yet but I will later. |

Those 4th gen Hatari Birds are GT SS cars. But, let me add my THANKS for posting the pics !!! :) It's great to have pics that can be downloaded & shared with others ! Auto Imagery has fixed their pics so that you can't use 'em. Can only link 'em. :( But I suppose their business is SELLING pics, not sharing them. |

Well I lost a double breakout to Mr Barry Parker. The wind had picked up quite a bit and it was a good race. I entered the second chance race.
Starting 2cd round now and there are 3 heads up runs, class racing in full effect. |
