George Baptiste

I was wondering if anyone knows about George Baptiste? Haven't seen him at the races in a while.

I've seen him up on the starting line a few times in recent years when the AH cars are running at the Dutch Classic. He still has his car.

He stopped by Hebert's pit at Indy a few years ago. Said he had just returned from a trip to Hawaii. Still looked the same. He doesn't seem to age

Mr. Baptiste is the first reason my brother and I fell in love with AH! We still talk about watching him row the gears in his Cuda at MG! Never met him personally but would love to see that car again go down the quarter mile. Glad to hear he's doing well and the car is still alive :)

All I can add is that he was racing it in the mid 90's.
