Super Stock at the Kentucky Derby
 

There is a horse competing at the Kentucky Derby named Super Stock !!!!!

His Pedigree is labeled as "Dialed In". And he has a sibling named "Mineshaft".

Google hits only suggest George Strait as involved, and I have not yet found any connection to us. But surely this must be connected to a class racer you would think?? Anyone know??

Either way, I don't care, with a horse name of Super Stock, a pedigree listed as " Dialed In", and a sibling called Mineshaft, I'm putting $300 on him Saturday whether or not his owners are class racers, because thats just too damm cool, and will be tons of fun for measly $300 on an otherwise lonely weekend. !!

There's also one named "Hot Rod Charlie" and he appears to be a player - right now at 8 to 1 odds.

The co owner of Superstock is the manager of country music icon George Strait. Smart $$ is leaning towards Hot Rod Charlie. .... Wondering out loud how many peaceful ?? protesters will converge just outside of Churchill Downs to RUIN the day for EVERYONE .....

further investigation, Super Stock is from sire Dialin and mare Super Girlie, but Dialin is from Mineshaft and Miss Dolittle. (Better check with Harry). Mineshaft comes from Seattle Slew who comes from Secretariat. not bad pedigree for sure.

I read the co-owners wife (Asmussen) named the horse S/S being the dam was Super Girlie.And S/S's pedigree is good to say the least, so he comes from super "stock". But where did dial in and mineshaft come from?.Maybe Don Kennedy knows something...lol...gsa612
