With the race coming up soon, we would like to get an idea of how many cars we with might have. If you plan to run the stick race ,could you (LIKE) this thread. This is going to be a great weekend of racing , with the two $5000 to win races , payout down to 1st round win, it doesn't get any better!!! NOT A BIG ENTRY FEE either, thanks to our all our sponsors. Also the stick race pays $2000 to win and round money also. thanks Bob

I wish...Not quite ready yet to hit the road.
Maybe next year..unless somebody with a good stick shift car decides they want to be a crew chief. I'll get there, some way ;-)

Again this year, Long Shifters has donated the Stick Challenge Trophy.

So....who will take it home this year?

Will it be Matt Steen's high winding SS/K 273 Valiant? Chris Knutson with his National event winning C/S 396-375 Camaro? One of the three car Henderson/Fenner team with their killer-good big block Camaro and Novas? And there's the 428 Mustangs of Jerry Mooney and Bill Fiest. Inaugural event winner Paul Merolla will be a force to contend with out of Nebraska with his always fast 327-275 Chevy II as will fellow 327-275 runner and 'Show Me State' resident, Jim Parsons.

Team mates Gene Bichlmier and Wayne Denklau with their screaming 282-220 Chevy II's will have to be dealt with, along with Minnesotan Paul Anderson in his big block Camaro Super Stocker. The 4 cylinder turbo Mustang of Sean Marconette can roll over the V8's for a win at any time, too. And Scott Dugdale knows how to put his 327-275 '67 Chevelle in the winners circle, too.

Will the Midwest Factory Finishes Stick Challenge trophy go to a Ford? A Chevy? A MoPar? Is there a stick AMC car making the trip?

Bob got to like the Bow Tie Challenge as part of The Stick Race just more excitement to an already great race! Also heard of a few west coast stick cars looking to race - hope it pans out for them. For now lovin I have a bow tie on the front of my Corvette stick car !

I will be there representing with the Road Chicken... Which by the way has been known to turn on a few win lights Al!:D My daughter Breezy will be racin The Two Ton Tamater K/SA in the Saturday and Sunday events. The Chicken and I will be getting a work out between the stick race, the race of Champions, and the Saturday and Sunday events! This is going to be a great event and for me is the biggest deal on the calendar in stock super/stock racing this year. I know of 3 west coast racers contemplating making the trip... all 3 of them very fast competitive stick cars:cool:

I hope they come that would be awesome! I am going to send in in jess but " we all know the really fast stick cars come from the Midwest" :) Come show we are not! Really all jessing a side we would love to have you guys come and race with us and make this a Premier Stick Racer event!

MCR Performance Seminar!!

I'm excited to announce Cale Aronson from Black Magic Clutches is going to be onsite at Rock Falls Raceway June 17th, 2021 for a mini Clutch Tuning Seminar starting at 3:00PM. This seminar will be an introduction to Cale's vast knowledge in clutch tuning, he usually provides 2 full day classes for anybody that would be interested in attending his class in the future. Cale will also will be onsite for any racers that would like his help during the Test & Tune on June 18th, 2021 before the MCR Stick Challenge sponsored by Midwest Factory Finishes.

10 gal Vp fuel to the Ru of the stick race 5 gal to the winner, C12 or C11. Will also give 5 gal to the RU in both of the reg races. Tom

This event is a GO, Stacking and Parking will be on June 17th, 2021.

The only slight change is Cale Aronson won't be attending and performing the MCR Performance Seminar on June 17th. He had a last minute change in plans and wont be able to attend.

Larry, why not load up and come race? It's $5000 to win on both days. After Bowling Green, why not see if you can keep the string going? :)

If the engine and stick setup was still in your pickup that's for sale, you could also compete in the Stick Challenge. Plus, you'd get a chance to watch our Race Of Champions (16 car qualified field of previous MCR/Heartland winners). It would be a great opportunity to bring some ideas back to your part of the country for more Stock Super Stock racing opportunities.

We would like to race with y’all but I should have the boat finished next week. I’ll need to see if the water will stay out so we can pour money in.
