“Live” from Norwalk 2021
We are not there yet! We left Rock Falls yesterday and drove to Middlebury, IN to NRC to get some work done on our motorhome. We finally got our new awning on. So everything is fixed and we are spending the night here and drive to Norwalk in the morning. The schedule says they start stacking at 8 am. From memories of previous years they do not let you in 1 minute earlier!!
So anyway if you have any news from there be sure and post it here! Looks like stock and super stock both are down to 60 of 70 entries! Looks like it might be a little rain on the weekend, but I don’t know if that is what scared people off or what!! More later! Patsy |

We are here and stacked in Linder’s Lot! The facility is beautiful! Grass is all mowed and looks great! Ready for a great few days of racing!!

I was looking forward to the National event there but decided to withdraw because I had a storm blow through that blew large tree over, and the tree tops caught top of motorhome. I am so lucky the only damage that happened to motorhome was all roof vents, and neo-angle shower skylight, missed both A/C units. I have it almost ready, and maybe coulda made it, but didn't want to stress, because some items weren't supposed to arrive until this past monday. It will be ready, and I will be looking forward to seeing everyone, and racing our first D3 race next weekend! Good luck to everyone at the National Event.

Well it is 8:15 in Linders Lot and all is on go for parking this morning! It looks like it filled up overnight! It is a beautiful day! 58 now going up to 77 later in the day! Ready to set up and get this show on the road!

57 stockers made the first run. I don't think anyone went a second under. Lots of red lights 1st round. DRC should have results up soon!

Norwalk is back and as good as ever. Ice cream is still a dollar. Grass is perfect. The whole area is very very clean. Staff is polite and helpful. So if you can come to Norwalk and help support this great family owned facility.

Well we got by Jim Marshall for a win in round 1! There was a little pause in action for sprinkles during the round but we made it thru! It is really cloudy and windy but racing is moving on. We are supposed to get another round in today.

They had just called us up for round 2 when it started raining! It was hard enough this time that they will have to dry the track since they were running alcohol cars! It appears to have stopped already but it will be a bit yet.

They announced that they will start back with Funny Car when they start back but said for Sportsman not to get into coolers yet. Sounds like we will be running tonight!

We got to see a bunch of old friends, got to meet a few new ones, and check on a few of our favorite nemesis.
So if you have a car or just want to catch up on some folks you ain’t seen in a while, Norwalk is the place this weekend or next week at the points race. Hope to see you !! |

Well we made it through rounds 2 and 3 and we will run round 4 tonight! It is way more fun when you are winning!!

We are racing on Sunday! Just won 4th round! Tomorrow after 2 rounds of Pros, we run Belles and Santangelo runs Sepanek! |
