Hey guys, we made it to the last points race of the year. The place is packed from what I can see. We got here late and its dark out, so I don't know how many cars are here but there has to be at least 400 and they are still coming in.

I will have more info tomorrow, Super Street is out first at 9AM followed by Stock.

Morning folks, its a little cloudy but nice, temps in the mid 60's going up to the upper 70's. Super Street is running now, followed by Stock. A few shots of the pits this morning, I hope to have more shots from the track later on.

Would have been nice to see NHRA.TV coverage to watch the Stock championship unfold but it’s likely not to be decided until the Vegas National event. Think the Stanfield surge has nailed down the Super Stock crown but still some Divisional spots are to be decided this weekend. Come on NHRA, at least turn on Live Timing!

The starting line had issues with some Stockers and a good amount of Super Stockers. It looks like it has come around, but who knows... I let you know on my next run. I did move around a little at the other end, but it might have just been the wind. The is no live timing at this race.

Thank you for what you do and while you're racing no less!

Please explain how "Live Timing' works and why it's not available for this event.

No surprise about the starting line at the Rock and it's a shame for the racers and also for such a historic track, hopefully management will resolve this issue sooner than later.

Frank, thanks for the kind words. As for the living timing, I was told no living timing, but no reason. I could not tell you how live timing works, but we have a good internet signal here. I'm guessing Rockingham is not set up for it.

The track is not great, I don't like to come down on tracks, but talking to the racers that come here a lot... well I can not repeat what they said, but its not good. I just came back from my run and it was good, I was in the right lane. My car got a little loose at the other end but its manageable. The left lane was not good for many Stockers, cars that never spin were making a hard right when they left the line. Low powered, high powered made no difference.

Also there is no one at the back of the lanes, Q1 was a cluster F***. I guess they are short staffed as there is still no one directing us as we come into the lanes. I'm done for the day, I think there will still be a 3rd shot, but there has been a lot of down time trying to fix the track issues.

I don't feel good about tomorrow for first round if they don't get a handle on the track. I hate to say this, but I'm not sure I will be back to this tack next season.

After your report, and that is what I expected about track prep, it makes me happy that we are home and watching UK basketball. If the team stands this year we will watch. Not sorry I got off track about standing for National Anthem!

Good morning all, its a cool morning... temperature right now is 58. Todays weather with be about the same as yesterday with a little more sun. Todays schedule will be Junior Dragsters out first with their time shots at 9AM followed by Super Street round one and the Stock round one. I failed to mention that this race is a double. The division race will finish today, and the open will be run tomorrow.

Looks great Ken, car not only looks good but handles beautifully. Hardly a turn of the wheel so you can concentrate on shift points.
