Insurance for SS car
 

Getting tired of fighting with Haggarty on car value. I hear theres a company that will insure on the race track as well.
Looking for a good insurer.

Not sure, already have the other camaro insured with them. Maybe I got a rookie underwriter

I use Laris off track for my car and the gold rush trailer. They also offer trailer only, or including contents. They provide winner contingency for clients, depending on the class/association.

You define the values and provide the supporting details.

Insurance is great to have an I’m a big advocate for it on race cars, but the proof is in the payout when **** does hit the fan. Low rates and low costs are great, but if they don’t pay, it’s a waste of money. I have my (3) cars insured with Don Kennedy and my biggest fear was something happening in the stacker . Two years ago my fear came true at a divisional and something happened to the cars involving one coming off the lift and hitting the other . I called Don on Saturday at the track and by Friday of the next week, (6 days later), I had a check for the full repair cost to my Camaro , no questions asked. I’m sure the other agents listed are great but I can give a testimonial of a true claim from hagerty working with Don. They wrote the policy on whatever value I gave them for all 3 cars without question. I think every car should have a policy on it at least for coverage while your towing to the track. You have a 40-50k car in a box that anything can happen to, so for $400-$500 a year it gives you phenomenal piece of mind.

Check out NCM Insurance. They offer AGREED VALUE insurance for race cars. Great people to deal with. Vehicle is covered everywhere except from the burn out box to the turn off of the track. I got 40K agreed value coverage (No appraisal required) for under $400 a year!
